  1. They were playing the Wisc / UMD game for a few after the Best Damn Sports SHow feed. I have been on hold with Comcast for over 15 minutes....about to give up....

about f*&king time! someones is getting a pink slip in the morning ???

  2. I should have clarified myself and said better teams. I was thinking of top 10 teams that will have a chance at nationals; Mankato is nowhere near winning nationals.

Not a word was said about replacing Guinn, either. I just would like to have seen Lafrance get some playing time out there against a press because of her court vision. Five-time defending state champions, Mandan, who is infamous for their defense and pressing the heck out of teams, did not press against her because she was so good at breaking it single-handedly.

I'd like to also comment on Kimbrough's play last night. She played so well on both ends of the court, but only shot the ball five times and still managed 17 points! Aside from Langen's eight turnovers, she also played exceptional!

I know you never said Guinn's name personally but you did say "they need a point guard to lead out there. It's too bad Lafrance has been injured this season" anyone could take that as a "replace Guinn remark"

  3. Winning big wouldn't have been my first choice of words. They had too many turnovers - 24 total and a third of them by Langen. They can't win against good teams if they play sloppy like that; they need a point guard to lead out there. It's too bad Lafrance has been injured this season; I would have liked to see what she could have done this year. She was one of the top point guards in the state since her sophomore year in high school.

good teams? isnt mankato ranked like 16th in the country? the point gaurd situation is just fine, there is no way gene would switch lafrance for guinn even if lafrance was healthy! yes, they can cut down on their TO and I am sure they will be working on that tomorrow but for as sloppy as they played they still beat a pretty good mankato team!

  4. give him a break?? sorry........ 2 of my best friends got caught in some serious stuff but when he was doing it i didnt have anything to do with him as you only can reach out so many times and spend so much time trying to help without them doing thier part. my buddies were idiots for doing it just like this situation but finally got help. we feel sorry for a guy whos sticking needles in himself for a nice high but people can nail tj oshie to a stake for making a very minor mistake in life which is a joke. happens all the time and im over this type of stuff. like i said i have been through this situation with a close friends who are now clean as can be but i didnt feel sorry for him one bit when he chose to get messed up every single day of his life after getting addicted. im as compassionate as a person can be as well with family and friends, just dont feel sorry for a guy like this as the only reason we found out about it is because he got caught.

No one knows the whole story, we dont know if he has been trying to get help or not. It seems to me that you are nailing this kid for making a big mistake which would almost make you like the people going after oshie. It's not like the kid was an all time user of drugs, he got caught up into something after his life was pretty much taken away and I am sure he regrets it but to go after him for a situation many of us don't know is ridiculous. I know you mean well but i am sure this is the wake up call the kid needs to get help and thats what some people need. This isn't a smack in the face to you AZ but to me I believe there is good in everyone and people screw up and deserve a 2nd chance.

  5. he put himself in this position and caught, his fault...

dont feel bad for hagemo one bit. he got himself in trouble not he has to deal with it. that goes for anyone choosing to that crap.

He was born to play hockey and thats all he knew and when that was taken away from him he turned to drugs, now i am not saying drugs are the answer but a lot of people turn to drugs(alcohol, weed, herion, X) when they lose something they have done there whole life. Hopefully this is what he needed and he finally gets the help he needs because it pains me to see anyone go through this type of thing.

  6. soohockey15 the next time before you post maybe you should think about what you are saying. both of your posts are pathetically insensitive. I assume the 15 stands for your age. If not I hope you don't have kids, or I hope you get sensitivity training before you do. Sad story and it is too bad that people have to go through things like this, try some compassion

    sensitivity training

    sensitivity training at its best!

  7. Actually the chant "Sioux Yeah Yeah" takes the trophy. Nice try. I dont see the Sioux with any chants where the whole crowd does it and its that loud and well coordinated. Fail.

why would you steal something from another person just sitting there enjoying a game? it just shows how classless you people from the UofM are! I can understand some ribbing and stuff but to steal something from someone is just LOW.

  8. How was the Alerus Center financed? State Universities that are owned by the state typically get money from the state. Not a foreign concept calling it a state university... not a private one! NDSU raised 15 million for the BB arena already and have a renovation plan in place if they dont do the dome addition, which is surplus and alread approved. NDSU pays for the tv games with advertising dollars. Of course it takes money to make money and it's obvioulsy working since NDSU has more than 1,000 students than UND. You make it sound like UND is some dynasty. By the time UND is eligibable for the playoffs it will have been nearly 13 years since the last Championship. Our last championship was 17 years ago.

    who cares! NDSU still sucks

  9. I was watching a few clips on youtube on Drew Stafford and I find it kind of weird that he has gotten into a few fights. For a first rounder shouldn't you be letting your tough guys do the fighting for you?

  10. Jordy was the best player in the Sat noon game. Make you wonder why he is not following in his brothers footsteps. It is not often that we do not land the younger brother. I can only think of one instance (Jesse and Max Bull). Did something happen between UND and the Murray's?:D I find it hard to believe that we did not attempt to sign him.

I remember reading somwhere (can't remember right now) that Andy wasn't impressed with the way UND's coaches were bringing Brady along in his development. I think it was kind of a situation like AG and the dad made the decision for the son, IMO.

  11. I'm interested in hearing about some opinions on the final score tomorrow night's game between RR and Roseau...I'm pulling for RR and see a close one with RR winning 5-4. Anyone care to pontificate? Check out the poll...

    BobIwabuchiFan

    Roseau wins! 5-2

  12. Watkins is my dark horse.

I think Turris is going to carry over his play from the WJC and have a good series this weekend! Hopefully not too many people picked him because I would really like to be wearing a new SIOUX JERSEY!

  13. If I produced a list of places or things i pissed on while attending UND, many here would throw the book at me. Ya know that balcony on the Alumni Center.......

I think I would be arrested at least twice a week if I produced a list of places I pee on during my night time strole of campus!
