As everyone on this board implies "being 2nd doesn't mean anything". I'm not saying Eades is a bad coach but he hasn't been a head coach at the College level in his career, is there something that we all don't know that is keeping him back? I can't say (and no one else can either) that those players still come to UND if Eades or Sandy was here. Look at all the old players that have kids and go play at different schools, or go look at some of the brothers that played here and the last one goes elsewhere.

Do those players that we have had even come to UND if Eades or Sandy are at UND? If either of those coaches are as good as you say, why is Eades still in the USHL? Yes, Sandy has won a title but what has happen to his teams after that (and before)? Would you go out and support UND if they turned in consecutive season of 5 wins? You fail to remember the years in the mid-90's when you couldn't even GIVE AWAY tickets to the games at the old Ralph...

No I'm not admitting that. Would I love to see UND win a title every year? Of course, who wouldn't. What I am saying is, how is lowering our expectations as fans going to change the way Hakstol/Staff and his players change there expectations?

Stop using the "top level resources" as an excuse on why players should just come to ND, that's just foolish. Does it help we have a top of the line arena? Of course it does but that isn't the only thing that gets players to come to UND. If we used your excuse that players will come to UND because of the arena than we would be getting the Eichel's of the world. The main goal now a days for players isn't to play college hockey, it is to make it to the NHL. UND does prepare players for a successful pro career once they leave but should that be their main goal? Also, your name says "BringDeanBack", how well did he do in his FIRST FF in 14 years?

I was debating on sensors tonight only because it is super close to my house and I have to work in the morning, otherwise Shantytown (which is walking distance) is a nice joint and the lady's will put the game on for whoever is there (one bartender is a ND native)........

Parrosnation is the guy selling the puck, he always has overpriced Sioux stuff and counterfeits stuff too. He also will buy stuff and try to sell it at a higher price (that's what ebay is all about). The guy selling the jerseys has been reported by me on multiple times, not sure why ebay still allows him to sell. The reason he has a card over the top is that it says Reebok right underneath it (must be his way of getting around it not being "counterfeit". I suggest staying away from both sellers....

I also saw that all teams will be wearing retro jerseys for the tournament. I imagine that UND will suit up in one of the famous Sioux head jerseys but which one will be determined by an arm wrestling match between President Kelley and Karl Goehring....

zero, there is no way he comes back from the injury he had that quick. I would love to see him suit up but its not happening.
