Until a distant great-great-great grand cousin decides he/she doesn't like Teddy Roosevelt being "honored" for killing Spanish soldiers and asks the NCAA to add "Roughriders" to the "hostile and abusive" list...
I'd take their roster over Minnesota's any day of the week and twice on Sunday. If their window is closing, then Minnesota's has been sealed tight with duct tape.
So the Timonen trade has netted Philly a 2015 2nd round pick and now a 2016 3rd round pick. One more series win by Chicago and the 2016 pick becomes a 2nd rounder (assuming Timonen plays 50% of the games in the conference finals). Not a bad haul for Philadelphia as they're trying to rebuild.
How could I not pick Toews or Kane? Good thing I fired my GM already. I need a Calgary comeback over Anaheim, Johnny Hockey to light up Chicago, and Stamkos to light it up the rest of the way.
I think that New England's punishment should be to replay the last 30 seconds or so of the Super Bowl. Let's see if Pete Carroll could screw up the play-calling again.
"That far into the future" is only two seasons away. The Wild have enough problems on their team right now starting with Vanek. Do they REALLY want to take on Phil Kessel too?
The Wild had no problem giving up a draft pick for a guy who won't be around next season (Chris Stewart), why wouldn't Fletcher try to pick up a former Gopher?

Please, Wild, trade for Phil Kessel and add to this mess!
