Now they have new buildings all over farm land just prime for overland flooding. They did protect people from the river with floodwalls but the overland flooding could bite them in the butt.

They have but Minnesota blocked it, then a federal judge so it’s all politics. I guess not going under in 97 was their mistake.

Fargo city administrator, Bruce Grubb, says the city is planning for at least the 10 percent scenario—that says the river would reach 40.3 feet.
"If we over prepare, we're fine with that, we just don't want to risk underpreparing," Grubb said.
On Friday, the flood outlook raised a couple feet—previously the worst-case scenario was looking to be around 39 feet. Now, there's a five percent chance it'll get to 41.4 feet.
"The levels were raised quite substantially," Grubb said.
With a record in 2009 of just under 41 feet, the city says a lot of the work will require volunteers to operate the spiders: the machines making sandbags.

Seems hockey is just slacking.
Don’t forget that logo was in the eyes of millions watching March Madness when we played Arizona. Lots of Hawk banners hanging in the Betty.

And he would be right. Funny you don’t see athletes of other sports saying #SiouxForever in basketball, football, volleyball, etc. It’s like the only people that want to “stick it” to the new name and logo are all associated with hockey. Players, coaches, and fans.

Hak was gone
Sioux name gone
Fighting Hawks name installed
Just think that little birdie has been to the Dance, NCAA tournaments in multiple sports, won numerous conference championships.

How many people at the high school hockey tournament yelled “Let’s go Redskins”. If people want to yell Go Sioux, whatever, but to blame the season on the Hawks logo is sad and pathetic.

It’s so funny to read the comments on social media about the reason UND hasn’t been in the tourney for the last two years. The little birdy on the uniform is the whole difference. People are calling it a curse. I guess those folks think that little logo will be the death of the program because I don’t see it being removed.

Seems like Omaha has Jones’ number since moving up. They are a tough team. I would like to see Omaha dancing.

How does the president get removed? Is it voted by the SBoHE? If so when will that take place? I would think with a lot of baggage on him his time is very limited.

Why would they get rid of Berry when we still have the same mediocre coach since DII in the Betty. Hockey is no where near the sh*tshow that basketball is. I would think Chaves’ list of coaches to get rid of that Berry would be further down the page.
