With Jones that's the best I ever see for UND. I know in the GWC that's the best they could play for, but we aren't in the GWC anymore and if UND doesn't start winning conference titles it's time for a change.

Upper not by record but by scholarships. No way the non-scholly teams or schools who don't put money in football like Idaho State, Indiana State, UNC move into the FBS.

If a player is horrible you could say he wouldn't beat a HS team, is it true no, but it makes it sound like he is horrible. I said the women could beat the men, could they no, but it proves the men are bad. They lost to a team with an NAIA win. UND women just won the BSC regular season title. Maybe Jones should take notes on how to rebound with the 314th rebounding team in the NCAA, the women were in the top 10 in rebounding margin. Women know how to win on the road, Jones don't. Its shocking when the men do win on the road. Its funny how a person can have an opinion and if its not popular that person is "not bright". I only seeing UND going FBS if there is a split in the FBS (Super 5 in one direction and the rest of the FBS absorbing upper FCS teams). I would be shocked if UND goes FBS before the end of this decade.

Last year was Brewster's first year of coaching, 2006-07 was Jones's first year, Jones was 26-32 in the NCC, 60-64 in the GWC, yep, Jones is my hero (Sarcastic!)

Only Hardee was fired due to off-field problems, or else he would still be coaching, but his replacement has a hell of a reputation at Baylor. What is wrong with firing Jones when his track record has this team never seeing a conference title or a regular season title. I know UND had some good runs in the GWC tournament but this is not Utah Valley, South Dakota, and NJIT. This is Montana, Weber State and Southern Utah.

Maybe, its hard to say. UND is 300 miles from the nearest FBS team they aren't in the same boat as UMASS.

The men are horrible at rebounding. People said that UND's defense (football) couldn't match up against high school teams. Its a way to say it is horrible. If you think our rebounding is great you are proposterous.

I guess you have to look at attendance, and if Jones stumbles early next season people won't show up and he will be in the same boat as Mussman. The women could beat the men at basketball, they know how to rebound, and Brewster knows how to control the attitudes of his players. Jones lets his guys do whatever, and they couldn't outrebound Central.

Bump! I know he won't be fired after this season seeing we got into the tournament. But if next season starts out like this season started out with losses not only to teams like Wisconsin and Oregon (pretty much expected), but teams like Bowling Green and Cal Poly I think Jones should be gone. UND is at SDSU and NDSU and you know Jones's track record on the road. Is it better to fire a coach halfway through the season (like you see in the pros) or do it after the dumpster fire of a season ends in March. The only way to keep his job next season is to win the BSC Tournament.

This game proves anyone can beat anyone. Because a team is winless in the conference you don't let your guard down. If the players weren't playing hard that's Jones's fault. His teams struggle majorly outside the Betty. If you can't learn to win on the road, you aren't going to win anything.
