First, good point about sponsors at the Betty, where do you advertise besides consessions and maybe in the newspaper, a video board would help greatly. Second the baseball example you have would easily be an excuse to drop it. When you start on the road for 20+ games it's like what's the point of the sport.

Good points. Seems like the injury bug hits more often like the football team is there a problem with strength and conditioning? The dance is the ultimate goal at least getting in the playoffs gives us a shot at the dance so there is a limit of excitement of getting into the tournament. Just seems like we run into a hotter team in the playoffs (just like hockey). Beating Weber would be our super bowl just get past them and you see the dance!!

There are two things I think of when salary is mentioned, first is he worth a raise, and second what kind of a coach can we get if there was more money pumped in, and to that thought is why haven't Faison pumped in more money I know we aren't a basketball school but we aren't a DII school either. I think people are tired of losing to teams we should beat, no signature wins, and a bid in the dance. I know the 3rd one is tough and we were close last year (WSU is very tough) but I would think the other two could get accomplished.

Osborne did take NU to major bowl games while Pelini went to the Gator Bowl twice, the Capitol One Bowl twice, and the Holiday Bowl twice. 9-3 this year (pending on the bowl game) is his best record. THREE losses is not acceptable, he ranks with Bill Callahan. Frank Solich's 2000 and 2001 teams were the best NU has seen this centrury (10-2, 11-2).

The CIT was perfectly fine when we were in the Great West, but those days are long gone. Its the Dance or nothing that matters. Who jumps up and down and says hey we didn't make the dance but we are in the CIT. Its like cheering that your team is in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, and not playing in a major bowl. Its nice the players get a little more playing time but no one outside of that city your team is from cares. And if it was up to you we would still have Muss, and Jones til the end. Obviously you don't like change when change is warranted.

Maybe NDSU can save up to build their own stadium if they wouldn't waste money on a bodyguard/driver. I thought Minneapolis had a higher crime rate than Fargo, guess not.

How many UND players were mad that Muss got fired? They showed their displeasure by leaving. It happens if a player is connected with the coach.

I think, as a Husker fan, he would have been more accepting and given another shot, although it was getting tough to see the team nearly lose to McNeese St, lose minor Bowl Games and not have a shot at a NC. Maybe us fans are spoiled and want the Huskers to mimic the years of Tom Osborne where the team rushed for 400 yards a game and put up 70 points on the lesser teams, just seems it's been missing for years and the offense hasn't been dominant. 17-0 over SDSU would have never happened under Osborne, 70-0 would've been more like it.

Not once did Osborne or Bowden rip the fans for being "fair weather" and rip on a star alumn for being honest. Pelini was a major asshat and needed to be removed.

To win on the road against in OOC (not tournament play) games still winless since February 2012, have a 20 win season, beat marquee teams (not a Duke or Kansas), and make the dance. If Brewster can do it in 2 seasons, Jones should be able to.
