  1. Unfortunately I think you probably nailed at least 3...possibly 4...of the final five. I would sincerely hope Sundogs is isn't truly in the conversation.
  2. Again as I previously stated...this team doesn't have 6 top 6 forwards. Have to play 2 guys in that top 6 role that probably aren't true top 6 guys. As for some guys they are just better fits and excel more in a bottom 6 role. From watching and statically OD is one of those guys. And nowhere did I state that about the Gaarder line...that every time out they were matched against UMDs 4th line Saturday and that's why they had success.
  3. Where's MM now saying OSU should have been "out" due to that pathetic home loss to VA Tech?
  4. To your last sentence.... part of that comes with effort and hardwork.
  5. UMD made a change with the HC of its women's program.....which in part was financial.
  6. Best. UND. AD. Ever.
  7. OSU has 2 TOs in Ducks territory but are up 21-7. How good of a coach is Urban Saban!!
  8. I like NS and Drake together...and I think Chyzyk fits on that line. Have to find a consistent wing to play w Mac and Parks. Would love to see OD seize that spot but he looked out of place there Friday and much more comfortable on the 4th line Saturday but maybe against Niagara he gets another shot.
  9. Which goes back to what someone post a couple days ago.....where is the top offensive skill guys compared to other UND teams? In reality if everyone forward is healthy IMO UND really has only 4 top six guys...Mac, Parks, NS and Drake...with Chyzyk a borderline top 6 player. LJ and Murphy get PP time......and some wonder why our PP struggles.
  10. Agree on Jordan.......Nick has the same talent to take over games as well. Those 2 IMO are the key guys going forward. LJ...he simply has taken a couple steps backwards from last year.
  11. Heard today he has played last few weeks w a torn quad.
  12. Spot on. Very well said.
  13. That escalated quickly........
  14. Agree....I'll go Bucks over Ducks. 31-27
  15. No argument with women's hockey but like Sic said Title IX dictates some of these "red ink" sports of which women's hockey is a big suck hole. Problem is the argument "hockey is to blame for all other sports ills"? MBB hasn't been relevant since when? Football will get there IMO under Bubba.
  16. 2012..........the UND athletic department had roughly $19.5M in total revenue. Like NDSU, a good portion of the total revenue (roughly 45%) of the athletic department is dollars directly from the university itself and student fees, but of the remaining roughly $11M in revenue which sport at UND contributed the biggest chunck of change revenue wise? To quote gfhockey...."simple question"?
  17. Botox Anderson lost control of that game Saturday single handedly. It was embarrassing.
  18. OD has had 14 total goals in his first 3 years at UND and had 5 goals so far this season prior to Saturday. So 19 total goals in 3 1/2 years prior to Saturday........and Starman has seen him play in how many games prior to Saturday? I think OD is playing at a level this season that he hasn't played at in his prior 3 years. It is good to see and that will benefit this team greatly moving forward. Also it never hurts to get a hat trick on national TV but let's not get ahead of ourselves because of one game...although a hat trick from him every other weekend would be nice!
  19. Congrats to the "Door Ninja"! Well deserved opportunity.
  20. And spot on.
  21. They will have lost 13 of 15 after this upcoming 2 game road trip........if Yeo is around after BUF that is taking "Nice" to the extreme IMO.
  22. Agree but for some to even suggest that hockey in any way, shape or form is the reason for the lack of success in FB and MBB is ridiculous and flatout ignorant.
  23. Please predict GB beats SEA...please...please...
  24. Put a winner on the court in MBB and on the field in FB.....that's a start. Bubba will get the FB program back to relevance. IMO Jones won't in MBB. Faison needs to step down and get someone with a true vision to lead the AD...that is another step. UND has many more people than Ralph, obviously not to the extent of his deep pockets, that can and will give to this athletic department but they need to see some changes........and believe me none of them think weakening the hockey program is part of those changes.
  25. This statement is so far off on any factual substance that it's laughable...but then I considered the source. I was at the Ralph both nights this past weekend and was around many of these "administrators". You are just clueless to make an assinine post like you did. Next you're gonna blame Cliven Bundy for the athletic department's woes...................
