    So Grady was re-added to the roster late last month but was a no show at day 1 of camp so then Bubba announced he is no longer with the team. Got it......... Regardless of talent I hope Bubba let Grady know enough is enough and a line was drawn that his career at UND is done.

    Korryn Gaines...............................a 6 hour standoff with police in which she repeatedly pointed a shotgun at the officers and threatened to kill them. Yet to the BLM folks it was another senseless killing of another black woman? BTW there have been 27 women killed by police this year and only 9 have been black. Hmmmmmmmmmmm................. Maybe the reality is she got what she deserved under the circumstances? Chicago just set a 10 year record for murders, most of them black on black violence, in July yet not a peep from our BLM protesters on this issue.................................or from our POTUS.

    Still not a fan of the logo by any means but as long as it is on just one side of the helmet where I only have to see it for a half of each game I can live with it. I would still prefer the ND on the helmet.

    So how does the fact no UND fan/alum I know or associate with owns anything FHs on it, not even NC gear which was available, nor have I seen more than a handful of individuals wearing anything FHs on it in the F-M where I live?

    Way to backpedal and spin it around to CYA. I have read nothing but verbal diarrhea on this site, you have been one of those spewing it, about how great and awesome the new nickname is and that was well before the logo came out. The fact that people, at least those shopping at Scheels in GF, would rather buy appearal with just UND vs anything with FH on it speaks volume IMO. If you think slapping the new logo on a T-shirt or sweatshirt is going to change that come mid August I kindly disagree. ......and one tangent from yesterday for UND1983. My 15 year old daughter, who was in Scheels with me, commented on how she saw one person shopping that had a FH shirt on...ONE! I saw a number of UND or Fighting Sioux shirts being worn by individuals within the 45 minutes we were in Scheels. Cool.

    At Scheels in GF between soccer matches killing time. In the UND section and there is big "SALE" rack so I started looking thru it. Went through 40 consecutive garments and 31 had "Fighting Hawks" on them. Asked an associate on what is selling more....just clothing with just "UND" on it or anything with "F-n Hawks" on it? She didn't seem to want to answer but finally said just "UND" clothing probably out selling "F-n Hawks" 3 to 1........but I'm sure that will change once the new sweet logo is added. Right???

    I'll retract my previous statement about never being disappointed in a burger at Sickies..........the glazed donuts burger is nasty. In my world donuts should never be combined with hamburger. All other burgers I have tried have been great though.

    My guess is JL Beers for some but IMO Sickies with the superior burger options is #1.

    Sickies has way better wings than BWW IMO. Their fried green beans are outstanding and their cheese curds are very good as well from an app standpoint.

    In places like Chicago, just to name one, I hope the police start patrolling less in the areas where there is this rampant black on black violence/crime and let those that live in those areas sort it out. What's the point of having a significant police presence in those "communities" around the country when those that live there can't stand the police.

    We eat at the one in Fargo almost weekly as a family. Great food IMO........have never been disappointed in one of their burgers.

    I would agree that looks more like a sports logo. Generic.....yes but how many ways can one invent a logo for completely overused sports nickname...Hawks. All that being said I'd be much more willing to purchase something with that Hawk logo vs what we have now. Just my opinion but if UND had this newly created Hawks logo and kept the interlocking ND logo as an alternative I think from a marketing standpoint it would be much better off. I have yet to find one person I have actually talked face to face with.......UND supporter or not...... that likes the current logo. Not one.

    Well thanks for setting me straight that the vocal minority is always right but isn't how this nickname/logo mess started to begin with? .........and my looks have been questioned often too in case you're wondering.
