Agree but makes more sense than teams crisscrossing the country via plane when they could be rewarded by playing in their backyard......and they can take a bus getting there. ......but there is DU. Whether they would play in Fargo or Providence the same 6 fans would show up.

Maybe I'm trying to make too much of sense of this but I can't see under any circumstances where if BU is a #1 seed that they won't be in Providence. It is a shorter drive than me heading to the Ralph from Fargo. A #1 seed winds up getting penalized because a #4 seed at a host site can't play a interconference team in the first round. I guess as long as my team is actually playing at their hosting site I'm good with whatever is decided on selection day.

So we have BU in Fargo, UMD in Manchester, Union in Cincy and DU in Providence. Makes perfect sense to me.

BU is a bus ride to Providence. Union is a bus ride to Manchester. Hypothetically those 2 teams could be #1 seeds. If they both are at that time of NCAA selection does one of them get shipped by plane to Fargo to avoid a NCHC first round match up in Fargo if UMD is #1 seed and UMD goes east by plane when they could bus to Fargo?

This the NCAA we are talking about......my guess is a good as yours? Here is what I do know: the top 6 are UMD, DU, WMU, BU, Penn St. and Union. 3 east team in the top 6. If 2 of those are #1 seeds IMO it would not make sense to send DU or UMD as #1 seed out east and Penn St or Union to Fargo just to avoid an interconference matchup because UND played it's way to a #4 seed. ........but I'll defer to you two wise guys.

Kind of a tangent but found this interesting in the Fargo Forum this morning............NDSU's recruiting class for women's soccer consisted of 8 ladies with 5 of those were from Canada. Guess UND women's hockey recruiting from outside the US is not such a big deal after seeing this. Now back on topic........................IMO women's hockey needs to be in the main discussion of a sport to go.

If Jost can not go this weekend and UND gets swept he might as well then sit until he is 100% not to risk further injury. UND's season at that stage would be in total playoff mode coming out of the bye having wasted 2 games at home.

My oldest daughter turns 18 on game day. My whole crew is locked and loaded for this one.

Let's play under/over: Ausmus, Jost, Cam and JJ were all out with injury Saturday night. I'm putting the number at 2.5 for Friday. 2 or less guys out with injury is under or 3 or more out is over. I'll go under.......I think 3 of those 4 will play Friday even if someone else who played this past Saturday can't go.

Getting 2 out of 3 correct isn't bad............Gornall did quite often this weekend.
