Season to date point totals for 5 players..... 10 points 10 points 12 points (Career season high in 5th year. Previous high was 10) 12 points 12 points One of those has played at least 50% less minutes than the other 4. Are you sure you want to talk about "players who haven't performed when they are given opportunities"?

How minutes total did 26 play last weekend? My guess is was less than 6. Same for 18? Give them the minutes of 28 27 10 19 and I'd be shocked if they would not have produced equally or better than those 4. Again......just trot out the same lines over and over.

Do we know who didn't make the trip? As for 29...and 6....and 26...and 18...if you lose two of these guys to the portal then there has been a complete mismanagement of minutes. Trotting out the same guys every night and getting the same results as the expense of lack of development from your younger players just to be a .500 team that misses the NCAA (again)? Duluth rolled 4 lines both nights with lots of Fr. UND rolled 3 with 5th year and portal guys. Weekend outcome.....split. ...and you think this season is not going well.

I'm hopeful this stays close......but I don't think it will. In rivalry games on the road a team needs to true point guard position to control possessions and the pace of play.

DeRidder provided some hope vs UMD. Needs to hold form. I'm gonna say sweep. 10 hatty Friday. 19 hatty Saturday and some lobby here for bringing them back for a 6th year. 26 sits Friday then will get at least 6 minutes total ice Saturday. 6 is extra Friday due to the CBS broadcast and a commercial timeout every other whistle but sits Saturday. 29 plays one night and promptly scores. 13 plays one night and leads team in xG opportunities. 25 gets a penalty for tripping Friday.....it's reviewed and is somehow deemed contact to the head. 5 and a game. NCHC suspenion on Saturday. UND is over 50% on the PP for the series. 15 is UND's best player on the ice both nights. 4-0 3-1 UND Did I miss anything??

Hahaha......cherry picking. He was the NCHC defensive Dman of the year last season. Bad play last night. Struggled early on this season but has been the only reliable Dman night in and night out for weeks. To put him coming back in same bucket as a couple this year is honestly laughable.

Since everything is duckie and bunnies this season so far for some here are some questions for next season.... Who is the #1 goaltender? Who's the 2nd D pairing? Who's in the top 6? With all the chips pushed into the middle from day one it is alarming there are no concrete answers to any of those questions. You know who has answers to all those questions? The team that is headed back to Duluth.
