IF UND/CC split, I'd be very suprised if UND doesn't have home ice after the WCHA regular season is done. UND is more than capable of sweeping MTU at home and CC sweeping DU is minimal IMO.

If UND gains a split (worst case) this weekend, I'd say they'll get home ice. UND has a much better chance at points vs. MTU than CC does vs. DU.

Been to few Thrasher's games over the years. They are drawing less and less every year we go. Last time we went we got club seats for 33% of face right off the street. The NHL needs to consider getting out of some of these non-hockey cities. Atlanta paper last week was 2/3 SEC related sports with the Hawks and Falcons getting the other 1/3. You can't tell me Winnepeg isn't a better market for hockey than Atlanta, now facility wise...?
