Living in Bemidji, I never heard a word about NDSU football until I was talking to a buddy and he says, "Man the Gophers suck. Losing to North Dakota State is just fucking sad."
Now on the other hand, I hear about Sioux hockey all the time. Mostly it's negative but that's because I'm surrounded by Gopher fans.
On the whole, college hockey just doesn't get the coverage that football does, but many places from Colorado to the east coast know UND hockey. I think you'd have a tough time finding someone outside of ND, SD or MN that knows who NDSU is.

What a couple of morons calling the game.
They show the Stoa hit and talk about how cheap it was and then they turn around and praise the same type of hit and make it the "Hit of the Game".

Ben Ammerman from moorhead? you could also watch ravndalen from warroad who will be playing for st. cloud just throwing that out there im not sure if jake youso will be back at international falls but hes to be a gopher as well.
I'm really starting to dislike these Gophers.

BSU announced next years non-conference schedule which includes a home and home with UMD, along with UND. Also, a 2 game visit from SCSU.

I would love to have Lee and Finley back next year along with one other guy.
I think that a lot of people don't see Lee as a solid offensive defenseman because he's not putting up huge points, but he's very fluid with the puck and a great passer.

If I recall correctly, and I try not to, it was Chorney's errant drop pass near the blue line that led to the Wheeler goal.
He should probably be forced to leave early because no one on the Sioux makes mistakes.

Before I came on this board a few months back, I never heard anything but good things about Brian. I personally think he's the best Dman the Sioux have behind Chorney. If he leaves, his passing will really be missed.

All I'm saying is that I could understand if he'd rather try to take that final step and win the big one on this level rather than jump to the Hawks, get knocked around all year and pray to finish within 10 games of the last playoff spot.

I am very happy that MSU won, because I hate the East and it's fun to watch BC lose.
I was really shocked last night as I browsed thru thread after thread and the common theme seemed to be that BC just need to get to the arena on time and collect the hardware. Now, by no means was I on here proclaiming an MSU victory but they took a huge shot to the gut from Maine and really showed what kind of a team they are. I figured that if Lerg played well, they could frustrate BC and take em down. At least someone in green won it.
I was really different watching the game tonight. Lots of big hits and a great game. All I could hear on Thur was how this penalty or that penalty was called to keep a handle on the game and not let things get out of hand. I guess more than 2 hits a game is letting things get out of hand. And what about that last run at Lerg that finally got called like 2 minutes later? Did Shep have to catch a replay?
