Donte Lawson from Greenway being mentioned anywhere?  I know he was a bit smaller, but elite has him listed at 5-10, 170 now.  Put up  36g last yr. 27 this yr.  Had a hat trick and 2a in the section semi.

1 assist and the double OT game winner last night to knock off Hermantown, so everyone will get a chance to see him at the X on Wednesday.

Per Schloss, it would appear that the non conference games for next season are:

    Home:

    Manitoba (exh.)

    Bemidji State

Canisius  - There better be an L shaped puck stack waiting for the Griffs on Friday night!

Next year's schedule is like seeing Sioux Falls University on the FB schedule in years past

I guess on the bright side, there will be cheap tickets available for several games (for the non-season ticket peeps)

Not sure on if he has any offers yet but know Duluth and St. Cloud have talked to him and been following.

I assumed SCSU has offered since they have Troumbly coming in, who is less productive and only 5-5, 130 lbs.

Thought maybe Lawson was waiting on MN or UMD.

I wish UND would replace Ryder's slot for 2020 with Lawson. I'm sure he'd have no issue doing a yr of juniors

Has anyone tried to use two devices at once? Or two IP's at once?

I can't swing a whole season myself but would like to split it with someone, but they state it can't be done with one login on multiple devices. Just wanted to see if that was true or not.

My buddy logged in from his house to watch the Vegas game, while I was also logged in at mine.

Minnesota crowds tend to sit on their hands too. Winnipeg and Nashville fans really get into it. I really need to get to Nashville for a game

    Just like The Ralph:glare:

Really hoping the Preds will have a home game that works with the UND vs PSU game...if they ever announce that

Without a doubt. If you can get up to Winnipeg for your first one that would be the arena to go to. It gets nuts up there

I could see somewhere like that, or Nashville.  The Wild feels like you're just watching a team go thru the motions of 1 game out of 82.  Much rather watch a good college game for a fraction of the price.

Ha. no kidding.. but isn't that the case for most of the teams in the bubble? If we had split, swept, won in OT.. but we didn't. Not a huge fan of these articles talking about the "what ifs". so many other opportunities, CLEARLY getting swept by the griffs was not normal, but tough to blame it all on one weekend.

Of course, there's always the break here or there for everyone, but it's more newsworthy when it's such a heavily favored series...like the Michigan State series a yr or 2 ago

He's gotten plenty heat and rightfully so. I guess it's fair to not have Bubbs a part of that 17 year run since he wasn't the head guy for most of it. Even by standards of all college sports, it's irrational to fire a coach after 4 seasons, two of which bring a tournament and one of which brings a national championships.

I think it's because his natty feels inherited.  If he took over at a point when the team was struggling, then righted the ship and delivered a title, it would paint a different picture.

Super quick play with the Pairwise tool, no other results counted, a split with Duluth and two sweeps against CC and UNO has us at 13. Sweeping the next six games, we're 11.

Surprising, given that wins vs CC and UNO aren't much help.

The combination of (1) Donovan going to Wisconsin (I would have understood wanting to stay home (2) Picking up another '19 recruit (MJHL) has got me really, really frustrated. I was always in the camp (still would be) that if they could only bring 4, they are bringing in the correct 4, so I wasn't as upset as some were originally. Now I am.

I guess it would make sense, if say, Mismash signs so the Preds could handle his rehab. Then grabbing this new guy would make sense. Although, I'd still prefer they cut ties with a chronic underachiever and bring in Ryder. It may not be a great look for future recruits, but neither is grinding thru 4 painful yrs of a guy who can't score.

UND thinks he was best suited to wait a year and he thought differently. We'll see.

Is this more than a guess? I don't disagree with UND, though I'd rather he came early than bail altogether.

Further adds to speculation that this last commit is due to something recent. I can't imagine they turned down a high end recruit coming early to bring in a 21 yr old from a low end league.

Ryder Donavan to Wisco...can’t believe I’m saying this but I don’t blame him. They have a bunch of high Enders coming in next year.

Thought for sure it would be UMD to stay home. Maybe it was just how UND has looked lately. We certainly ended up with room next yr

This guy isn’t getting the scholarship money Donovan would have gotten though.

And technically do we even know what the plans for Ryder next year were? I guess I just thought it was speculation on this board.

And considering the high amount of injuries the last few years, we should bring in extra players.

Never heard anything official, but the story I got was UND preferred he go to the USHL this year (which appeared to be the plan), then he reversed course and decided to stay for his senior year. Apparently he prefers the comfort zone of staying close to home, which is why it would make sense if he backed out for UMD.

Another player for the Hawks nest. He'll be 21 next season.

Here's his elite prospects page. https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/335673/carson-albrecht/embed-stats

Ok...now I REALLY want to know the story on Ryder.

If he just decided he doesn't want to leave home(which I've heard), and ends up at UMD, then fine.

If it was because there was no room for him or UND wanted him to go to Jrs...then this guy comes in. Hmmm
