Yeah, they just need to put some shots on net with Frazee in goal anything could happen.
-
That looked like a dive by the gopher player. How do you call that and not the hook right before?
-
Yeah, there was no question he tried to run him. Good call.

That's pretty harsh, but I do agree with the fact he needs a lot of work on his skating. He looks like his is always about to fall down when he skates. I don't want to label him as a bust because he still has three year to improve his game, and I hope he does.

Sioux looked very solid tonight. The Dot line was looking good as usual, but the other lines look good as well. Lammy looked very good in net, and I hope he is ok after that hit. D looked solid. Lee looked good tonight on both sides of the ice. I hope we can expect to see more of the way he played tonight for the rest of the season. Overall it was a good team win, and the first two periods were some of the best hockey they have played this year. -

I watched some of the game and the Gophers are clearly better then UAA, but they didn't look that impressive. -

I'm glad the Sioux didn't get the bulldogs. They have a poor record, but a lot of talented players. If they had a better goalie I think they would be a very good team. -

Looked like he was protecting his teammate after a Mavs player took a kick at one of the Sioux players on the ice. -

Magic fourth goal. I wouldn't mind seeing another three or four tonight. -

Poor D by the Sioux on that goal. Goal Duncan!! -
Let me start by saying that I am not against Duncan. I think he is a great playing and is red hot this year. As for Toews and Oshie, even when they are not scoring they still draw a lot of attention from the apposing team giving Duncan many more chances then he'd otherwise see. How many back door goals has he scored off of passes from Toews or Oshie? I think the three of them together make a great line and I'm just going to enjoy watching them for the rest of this year and not worry too much about next year.

McFeely is from MSUM so maybe he just doesn't like a school that has had some success in athletics. Honestly I think it's his job to stir things up a little. Most of his post are very bias and I haven't liked him as a journalist long before this.

I do agree with the first part of your post. If Lee makes a mistake early it seems like the rest of the game is down hill. As for going to the pros, I'm sure he will see an offer after this season is over. I assume he will have to spend some time in the minors, but the way the fans have been on him this year it might not be a bad time for him to make a change. I hope he doesn't see it that way and comes back for a third year.

When I first saw this topic I thought oh no here we go again with the Lee bashing, but after reading the posts I agree with what a lot of you are saying. Lee is never going to be a punishing hitter and I don't think that

Duncan is having a really good year, but as for a future in the NHL I think a lot will be decided next year when he is without Toews and Oshie on his line.
