SIOUX VS GOPHERS - LOSER GOES HOME, WINNER TO ST LOUIS
FightingSue replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
Yes. Good miss by Lee Hobey Duncun -
Chorney and Bina made a few bad plays that led to goals today, hopefully they get it worked out before the gophers game tomorrow. P.S. They need to pull Lamoureux he's given up five goals already
-
Oshie!!
-
That better not be a jinx.
-
It was a joke after I asked if he was going to announce for the Gophers next year.
-
I have never seen a player do that. I thought it was a pretty clean hit, but he must have thought he did something wrong.
-
Are you going to start announcing for the Gophers?
-
Considering the D as a whole he has looked okay. At least he hasn't been walked like a few of the other D.
-
I think its on at ten on FSN, when the Wild game is over.
-
Made it through the first minute!
-
I was thinking the same thing. You could tell TJ didn't know what the camera guy was doing.
-
I hope we can enjoy that great clip tomorrow a few more times.
-
It would be okay with me if it doesn't.
-
Lets see if Air Force has any legs left in the last 4:30.
-
Yeah, I would say its a pretty safe bet that know matter what happens in the last eight minutes of this game the Sioux won't see Briggs.
-
They might be doing it in the locker room between periods.
-
It looks like the Gophers are having trouble skating with Air Force right now. Who would have thought that? Still early though.
-
Funny the announcers mentioned all the Sioux fans wearing Holy Cross jerseys.
-
I think Air Force can score a couple more goals, but I don't know if thats enough. There goalie looks like he is all over the place in net, but then again Briggs hasn't looked too good either.
-
That was great. I know its early, but it would be great to see another loss by the gophers in the first round.

As did I. I think Toews will be gone as soon as the season ends (hopefully not until we've won #8). As for the rest: Chorney I would say is a 70/30 to leave. Lee 60/40 Oshie 50/50 Duncun 30/70 Finley will be back I'm sure Oshie will get offered the cap, but I could see him staying. He seems to like the college life from what I hear, and he is a fan favorite. I'm a little worried that Duncun will leave. The rest can go this year or next year and get the rookie cap, but he might feel after this year it's his best shot. I'm also a little worried that a couple players will decide to leave and the rest will follow. They are all from the same class and I would assume pretty good friends. On the upside maybe one will stay and the rest will also. If a guy like Toews or Chorney steps up and says he's staying early I think it could really increase the chances of the others staying.

I would say yes. Its been proven in the first half of the last two seasons. The team has started off slow and a lot of the fans think it's all over. You can hear the whining at the Ralph and even read it from some of the posters on this site. It's not all bad I'd rather cheer for a team where the fans expect to win then a team that they expect to lose, or worse not even care.
-
I disagree with you. I wish he would stay, but I think there is a very good chance he won
-
What a bounce off the crossbar. I still think they are going to need to play better to beat the Sioux.
-
I think he is trying to jinx them. He has been saying things all night like that.
