Rocco is quick, skilled, and savvy. A deadly combination. Smart teams try to ride him off the play, and it works well if there is nobody quick enough to stay with the play when Rocco gains the zone with speed. That is why I like Rocc Kristo and Knight on the same line. Yeah, you can ride one off the play, but then lookout for the others! I cannot even count the number of times Rocco used his speed and stick handling to get deep into the zone, only to be pushed wide by the defense, and then Rocco turning and looking for a trailing pass and nothing........... What a waste.

We were in the box for 2 or 3 of those in most games..... didn't seem to matter.

I hope Zane will be in goal. I like Knight Kristo Rocco line, and I would like to see St. Clair Gaarder Caggiula as well. We need to generate some offense, as the Niagara goalie is going to be solid. I like the fact that they have phased out olympic ice from NCAA tourney. The TV timeouts WILL be a factor, and by loading our first two lines we should be able to capitalize on it, like other teams do. Officiating will be what it always is. We really will need to stay out of the box as much as possible, and maybe that means backing off on some big hits from our big boys. If they have the discipline to do that. Our defense needs to be solid. No stupid turn overs in our end that lead to goals. Hak needs to be flexible and think on his feet, because other teams will be doing exactly that against us and we need to be able to react appropriately. When a horse is dead, stop beating it.

They will need some way to assess how their training is coming,since that will not be possible in the BIGez10.

So what trophy will webe playing for next year? Also, one of the teams tomorrow night will win and take the Broadmoor with them. Will that effectively retire the trophy (like it did when Mich Tech won and then left the WCHA)?

This year I will make it on the wrong right day! I will bring my adult daughter. My wife is getting her hair done (I think she pulled some out last night). I will be the guy in the Sioux jersey.
