I'm just going to say it: Lazy defense. Getting beat to the puck, not moving feet, opponents free on backside...... Not so much this last game, but there were long spells this season where that defined out play. And that was tolerable when we scored more than the opponents, but when we didn't, it was tough t watch. And we have 2 Hobey Baker Finalist forwards on the squad and we can't score more than one goal? Lucy, you got some splainin' to do....

This team had the dogs, they just didn't hunt. You can look for a scapegoat all day. Maybe it was because I wore my black jersey instead of my white? No, I don't think Hak should be fired. But I also think he needs to take a long hard look at how he approaches the post-season, and that starts the first day of training.

Watching the last two periods war frustrating and depressing. We were outskated, it was clear which team wanted this win more, and it wasn't us. Can you coach that? I am not sure. We certainly could use some senior leadership. I put away my Fighting Sioux flag, which was hanging on the front of the house, and put away my little light up Sioux hockey guy that was stuck in the front yard. It is now baseball season. Unfortunately.

My wife and daughter went to Joe Sensers for yesterday's game. She said there was a small crowd, but they were LOUD! I am in Bismarck and I went to Reza's Pitch. All the TVs were tuned to the game and he had the game on the sound system. There were only two of us with Sioux jerseys on, and a couple others with Sioux shirts. But when we scored the place exploded! Everybody was watching the game and rooting for the Sioux. It was awesome. I am going back today!
