QP is playing with incredible intensity. I hope this game goes 15 overtimes and then BC wins. I would much rather play BC at this point.... Except I really want to play the best in the Championship game, and that looks to me like QP.

Is is just me? I don't like being called a "hockey blue blood." Even though I know it is meant as a compliment, I feel it refers to nobility, and I like to think of the UND team as a hard working-class team.

When you get to post-season play, you are unlikely to face any weak teams. When you play in the Frozen Four, you have to expect to play the best. I would have it no other way. That Michigan game was a great hockey game. The pace in the 3rd was fantastic. I expect every game from here on out will be a tough game for both sides, as it should be. I just hope we show up to play, come out hard, play smart, two-way hockey and notch some goals. If Cam is on his game, and our D-corp is playing tough and smart, I like our odds. I know some said we played well when we played Denver last, I thought we were not really on our game. I am looking forward to Tampa, and looking forward to settling some scores. Bring it!

That doesn't take much, except for Michigan.

There is absolutely NO WAY I will be able to make it. But I will be there in spirit. Next year (if there is a next year ) I was supposed to be in Orlando (Disney World) for a work conference during the tourney, but that was cancelled when all out of state travel was cancelled for ND State workers.

Some of these games are absolutely embarrassing in terms of fans in the stands. We get better turnout for HS girls games around here. Makes me proud to be a UND fan, and the way we travel to support our team. Maybe it is time for the beanpot teams to travel for post season play for a change.

I think as long as Cam shows up today we will be fine and roll Michigan. Their goalie has not looked all that great, and truth be told Cam has had some less than stellar games as well. The top CCM line from Michigan will likely be in for a rude awakening when they feel the crush of our D-corp. They rely on scoring a crapload of goals to gain and keep a lead. My hope is that we can hold them to far less than they are used to, and I am confident that we can score more than them. Should be a great game. Go Sioux!
