Lets tighten up our passing game, firm up our defense, hope Scheel is on his game, and score a quick one to get off to a good start (and shut up the zoo).

Well, a win is a win? Sure!

Refs are letting them play in the 3rd. Must have gotten an intermission phone call from Don......

This is not good hockey (except Scheel).

Their forecheck is working well and they are out hustling us to the puck....

So is this a matter of playing down to the competition? Playing up to the competition, or simply a bad game for us?

Wow. When I said stay out of the box, I meant it. But pretty hard when the refs are calling the game like this. We better come out in the 3rd strong (and preferably score quickly).

Well, we SHOULD stomp the ponies. If we can stay out of the box and not make any stupid moves, I think it could be another one-sided result.

We were barely able to establish our passing game tonight. And Scheel has looked vulnerable. We have had a few defensive lapses against a soft Gopher squad, which either does not bode well or maybe is just getting it out against a weaker side. Either way, we need to be able to play our game consistently to move deep into post-season play this year. Not necessarily like Friday's play, but definitely not like tonight's game. Either way, I will be there, or here, cheering: GO SIOUX!
