Now that looked like it could have been a charging or an elbowing penalty on MSU. Unfortunatley for the Spartans, the guy who should have gotten called got the worst of it.

I don't disagree with you about the bogus call on Finley. I'm just saying that if the Sioux had won that faceoff, their chance to successfully kill the penalty would have been a lot better.

I'm watching. Our fearless moderator, GDM, is phoning in "Shepherd watch" reports. So far, he says Derek has made two calls to make up for two calls he missed. Oh, and he's going to try to get a "Let's go Sioux!" chant going coming out of a commercial break.

I was thinking the same thing. Some of the hits tonight probably would have been called penalties on Thursday night.

The Sioux lost a lot of faceoffs in the game, but that was probably the most costly.

What really hurt the Sioux was losing the faceoff in BC's zone right after the Finley penalty was called. Although the time on Porter's penalty expired and he was rushing to get back into play, it was essentially a 5-on-3 power play goal. Had the Sioux won that faceoff, at least they would have had time to set up their 5-on-4 penalty kill.

I could be wrong, but I believe that if you set your facebook account so only friends can see it, the your name will still show up in a search. However, only those listed as friends can access it. As I said earlier, Oshie's facebook profile has been MIA for at least a few months now. It isn't something that happened recently.

It's also a perfect illustration of how much good hockey does UND, both nationally and internationally.
