  1. have to call you out here. of course its a signature win. theyre a perennial ncaa and top 25 team normally. they havent done anything special in the dance but they were a 2 seed a couple seasons ago. as far as this season making the dance for them remains to be seen but we'll see how they end up

I agree with your comment. Pretty neat to go into Notre Dame and beat them. Hard place to play. If UND would beat almost anybody on the road I would be excited.. Congrats to su!

  2. I am looking forward to this game. Any estimate on crowd size? Shouldn't be too many su fans there with the fb game just getting over by bb game time. su is playing better but we should win. Haven't been to a women's game at the Betty. Is most of the seating general admission? Beer?

  3. Seems like this is a game we could win. Butler cant be happy with the way they have played so far. Who knows after what happened the second half against Pacific. Disappointed with Huff. Maybe he isn't as good as many think?

  4. He couldn't have a breathalyzer or blood test because he drove off. So I guess the moral of the story is, if you are drunk and run into to somebody, just leave and sober up. You may be charged with hit and run, but at least you won't get a DUI. Since he left the scene, it should only take the testimony of anybody with him at the time of the incident that he appeared intoxicated to be able to charge him with DUI.

By the way, did he drive from Fargo to Grand Forks when they got off the plane? By then, the other coaches had to have known what had happened and never should have let him drive.

What is your point? Do you think he drank on the plane? My God. You are concerned about Fargo to GF? By then the damage was done and everybody just wanted to get back and let things play out. You are right, the worst part of this situation was that Hardee might have driven sober from Fargo to GF.

  5. how did the rest of the staff not notice he was drunk? If they knew (and if he was indeed drunk), they should be gone as well.

Good point mg. Somebody else had to notice If he was drunk. Many times it is hard to discern if somebody had too much to drink. Takes a lot of guts to call out your coach/boss. You better be right. Some may have thought they could deal with it once they got back to GF. I wouldn't go so far as to say they should be gone. Shows leadership qualities that it takes to be in charge if you are willing to do what is right and not worry about the consequences. Not sure what I would have done??

  6. I want people to think outside the box and realize that UND is not perfect and your admins are not infallible. People make mistakes all the time and everywhere. You folks place all of SU's actions under a microscope and are judge and jury, but don't do the same "at home". U get on and judge every SU fan who supports or defends the actions/decisions of SU admins, but then are largely unwilling to scrutinize your own. I am just hoping that now, before you disparage all that is SU, you will pause and think before posting. I for one am not surprised this happened-->cuz this kinda stuff happens everywhere and now I hope you realize UND is not immune to it, despite its med school!! :)

Thanks - well put. I can agree. We all are fans. I enjoy games. I enjoy events leading up to games. Sometimes fans go too far. UNDs administration is not immune to making questionable decisions.

  7. @Point 1: So a verbal warning for coach DUI in Forks but suspension w/o pay in Fargo. If H had been suspended, the media would have likely picked up on that. Hmmmm!!??

@Point 2: I didn't say he was driving the team, but the chances are damn good he was/did. Also, he had to drive to a and from work, and I have a hard time believing he wasn't driving a sponso car. That ain't right.

@Point 3: The Buck stops at F's desk, not some minions. Plus, you are assuming others AD staff knew of this-->remember it was a verbal reprimand(think quiet).

What do you want CAS? What is your motivation to post and post?

  8. No way Hardee should have been driving in a position of authority. No excuse. I wouldn't want my kids in his van. He had to go.

I don't know the circumstances of his first DUI. Just wondering though if any posters here have ever driven after a few too many?

  9. su has been very successful with the correct choice they made moving to DI. Congrats! Pretty amazing actually. What I find curious is, after all this time of "UND is no longer our rival", the amount of hurt and resentment many of them still have with UND. Can anybody explain why this is so? What drives so much anger from otherwise seemingly intelligent nice fun to be around people?
