Well, as a Gopher fan all I can say is this: UND will still have a good year next year regardless of whom is at the helm, just too much dang talent. The long term affects are what I am curious about, namely recruiting. Other thing will be how your team reacts under new coaching style...maybe you'll keep one goalie in nets all season! I'd love to see UND back to their early 90's stats, but I just don't see that happening overnight if ever...but one can hope! WPoS

that was what existed before the NCAA's were formed/made... as for how much titles from that era count, most of the big power house schools had teams back then, so they count for SOMETHING IMO. Not as high as NCAA titles, but still worth some props. WPoS

actually, I'd say that a team can get "hot" in the NCAA's just as easily as the league post season titles and not be the "best" team to win it all. I'd look to Denver this year (who woulda thunk in March they'd win?!??!) as one example. So by your logic, at least one of the UND NCAA's would be a "lucky" title run too! But I would agree for the most part with the logic for the regular season title... WPoS

actaully the 21st century STARTED in 2001. 2000 is the LAST year of the 20th century. 2000 was the "100th" year of the century, not the first year...get with your millenium man! WPoS

now when did I say that? The best in NCAA play last year wasn't Ballard, but he was in the top 10 for sure. Now the year before we did in P-Mart. WPoS
