Washington wins today 26-6 over Dallas with a fifth round never tested rookie QB. It makes Wentz look even worse than he did before. Do they have any trade value at all with him? I can't imagine any other team is going to want him period.

The problem is, we've now created a new monster. SDSU is very capable of taking off right where NDSU left off. We still need to figure out how to get past the first round of the playoffs and make the deep deep run. Until then, it doesn't really matter if it's NDSU or SDSU making the natty run.

I didn't see the game but I saw the recap and highlights and it was a very typical Wentz outing. The guy totally sucked and I mean sucked. So what do the Wentz jock sniffers think now? I'd say Pop Warner players are better than Wentz.

It just means that the NDSU AD will make sure UND is always coming in at 17-24.

Absolutely things are different if we play at the Alerus. I'll always believe in the dome field advantage.

Do you still think the dome wasn't much of an advantage for them last night? I'm pretty sure that place was worth more than the 3 point margin of victory.

I might be dead wrong here, but I don't think Babich was fired at NDSU. I always thought he was "encouraged" to move on and took a better position with Lovey Smith and the Chicago Bears. The point is NDSU didn't have to eat a year or two of his contract with Babich leaving on his own. This may be the only way we ever rid ourselves of Bubba. There's no way UND can afford to buy out Bubba.

Just making the playoffs isn't much of a thrill any more. We need to make a run, win a couple games at minimum in the playoffs. In 9 years, is Missouri State our only win or am I forgetting about a second one?
I sure wouldn't assume a playoff spot with a 7-4 record, not with the way the NCAA goes about it's backhanded dealings.
