Not the real REA twitter account.
It's instagram. And I'm pretty sure that it is real.

No Lexi Klabo tonight.

Pryor adds an Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. Jeremiah Tiffin They coached together at Baylor.
Does anyone know if this is an addition to the staff or are one of the current assistants leaving?

I found floor plans for phase II. Has anyone posted this yet? Page 13 http://www1.und.edu/finance-operations/facilities-management/_files/docs/und-athletics-masterplan-0406.pdf
I had not seen that. Thank you. Interesting that beyond Phase II of the HPC, there are additional facilities proposed: an training addition to the Betty, turning Memorial into an "Athlete's Village" and an attached athletic dining hall.

Lexi Klabo is a warrior.

I know Dooley is an incredible athlete and in no way is this meant as a knock on her, but it is sad that one of the top 3 players on this team is a walk-on from the volleyball program.

In the 4th quarter UND had 19 possessions and turned it over 9 times.

Turnovers.

UND won their first Summit League contest Sunday afternoon, winning 1-0 at ORU. The winning goal was a beauty from Brittany Mueller. You can watch it here at the 1:21:30 mark.

Rice takes 4th set 25-18. Just going by stats, but UND played much better in sets 3 and 4.
Rice is a solid team, picked to finish 2nd in C-USA. Texas Tech game tonight will be streamed.

Think this is partially due to losing our setter?
Absolutely.
UND takes 3rd set, 25-21. Much better coming out of the break.
Nieukirk, Flores, Rautio have played a bunch. All freshmen.
-
Lost 2nd 25-15. It has not been a good start at the front. Horrible hitting % (.03) and only 1 block thru two sets.
-
Lost 1st set to rice 25-22.
Down 9-3 in 2nd.
Williams, Flores, Rautio, Vail, Brekke, Rutten, Fraase (libero) are starters
-
Lots of turnover again. 10 new faces including 9 freshmen. In addition to last year's 5 seniors, 5 underclassmen have left the team.
-
Interesting that you bring this up. Midway-Minto going to 6 man is on the next week's NDHSAA agenda. There are currently 3 teams in ND that play it but they are all in the west and are able to schedule Montana teams.

Depends on how much UND gets for the land sales. Negotiations have involved the family, to some extent, but mostly the group that's been privately keeping MG afloat the past 2 seasons.
How could that group get UND to commit to selling its own property to endow men's golf when UND wasn't willing to fund it 2 years ago?

This may need a different thread:

Am I reading this right - men's golf is now safe?
Is this the result of a compromise with the Richards family?

You do not have to be a Champions Club member to get football season tickets.
Edit - or basketball for that matter.

I will be curious to see what time UND puts those Sunday matches at. I can't imagine they will want to go head to head when a Viking's game is on. Or maybe that really doesn't matter? Of course opponents that play here on Sunday will want to get back home to where ever at a reasonable time on Sunday, so their student athletes will be able to be in class on Mondays. Just a little glimpse how we as fans will have to get used to a new routine in The Summit as opposed to The Big Sky. I'm sure with basketball there will be some scheduling things to get used to as well.
USD has their 2018 schedule up. They show the October 14 (Sunday) game at UND to be at 2 pm. Early afternoon seems to be the norm for the conference.

So saying the money came from a private donor might be technically true, but in name only.
The Engelstad Foundation gets no contributions from REA, no ticket revenue. Other than 2 common board members, it has no connection with REA. It was funded from Ralph and his estate. It has net assets of $790 million for crying out loud. It could buy REA 10X over.
Honestly where did this totally baseless rumor come from?

Honest question. I thought the $3M for hockey locker room reno came from money held back by REA for building improvements which in turn would have decreased money back to UND over the years. Any truth there?
In 2014, the Engelstad Foundation made a donation to REA in the amount of $3.26 million. You can draw your own conclusion.

I believe UND Foundation's bonds for Phase I should be paid off this year.

Ha! You've obviously never met her.
You can criticize her approach or her motivations without the thinly veiled misogyny.

Kennedy vs donors... again?
