Wow this MN vs. MSU-M game - why are the refs even out there?

I have had mine for about a month now and absolutely love it! I am not so sure my Fiancee would agree as she is always yelling at me for checking the message board when we are out. As far as the keyboard - it took me about a day to get the hang of it. It is not a full on QWERTY, but if you have ever used T9WORD for text messaging this is 10 times easier to learn. Because the keyboard is not a full on QWERTY, it allows the Pearl to be so much smaller than any other device out there. I was also very impressed with the turn around from Verizon regarding the rebate. I received the $50 check in the mail before I even had to pay for my phone! This is by far the best phone I have ever owned. As I posted previously I have used flip phones, Palm, and Windows based devices and this blows all of them away!

Can anyone tell me what Fox channels the game is on tonight? Sorry I know this was covered in another thread but I am at a bar and can't locate the info. Thanks!

Is there a free audio or video webcast of the gophers/du game?

I was at the game last night and noticed a lot of gopher fans either left after the 3rd period or left their seat and stood up in the standing room area closer to the door. I guess the 10 minutes they saved in traffic was worth missing the most exciting goal this season! Here's to the SWEEP!

The iPhone is available only from ATT for the next couple of years. Unless ATT starts putting up towers in ND you won't be able to use it. The problem is the iPhone runs on the GSM network which is what ATT, T-Mobile, and most of Europe use. Verizon, Sprint, and Alltel use CDMA which is why ATT and T-Mobile do not work in ND. Bottom line, until Apple and ATT's exclusive deal runs out Apple won't be manufacturing any CDMA devices.

Just got my Pearl up and running, in fact I am writing this post with it. SS.com looks great on it and loads SO much faster than the old Treo. Definitely comes highly recommended from me! And for the price how could you beat it?

I have had a Treo for about a year and liked it. I just ordered the Pearl and it should arrive today! I will let you know what I think. GeauxSioux - how does SS.com work on yours? My old Treo loads the message boards well, but does a bad job on the main page. I am hoping for better luck with the BlackBerry. If it doesn't work well I will be great full for the 30 day return policy from Verizon! Go Sioux!

Where is everyone planning on going before and after the game for a drink/bite? Last year we went to Stub and Herbs and Sally's - is there another place the Sioux fans coming down will be going? Friday can't get here fast enough - Go Sioux!

It looks like all the MSU home games are webcast via a B2TV feed. I looked around at the site a little today, but couldn't find out what an individual game would cost. I will have to admit - I was very disappointed in the outcome of Saturday's game, but. . . . . Most of the posts are EXACTLY the same as last year. The only one I haven't read it "it is time to fire Hak." Maybe we should see how the second half actually goes before we start with the negativity. We are in a better position than last year at this point, and I believe we will finish better than last year when it is all said and done! Go Sioux!

Where do you see Friday's game listed as a webcast? It looks like it is only Audio and Live Stats to me.

Correct me if I am wrong as I have not lived in ND for a year and a half, but does NDSU have a TV network specifically set up to broadcast all home and some away games? I don't remember EVER watching Bison FB in GF unless it was picked up by KVLY. UND hockey IS shown in Fargo. There is so much demand for UND hockey across the state, and nation for that matter, that a specific TV network was put into place. I am eternally great full for that fact as I am able to watch nearly EVERY hockey game from the comfort of my apartment in MPLS. I wasn't even able to watch the Bison/Gophers game on TV and I live 10 blocks from the dome!

Even if it works intermittently like last year - I would still sign up. When I am unable to be by my computer any update is better than none! Thanks!

I did vote for option 1, but had a hard time between that choice and option 2. Ever since they came out on the ice at the John (the first time I had ever seen the new style) I immediately wanted to buy one. Had they been on sale that night I probably would have paid any price for one. They are so sharp, and I really do think they give the Sioux a mental and physical edge. Along with the black puck on black jersey, I had never given that much though. I have never played hockey but it does make a huge amount of sense to me the hockey fan.
