Karl is coaching the U17 team that is going overseas. All 3 goalies on that team are uncommitted. 1 from Sioux Falls Power.

Have any ND HS kids made junior teams this summer? Saw Vig was in all-star game at OKC camp last weekend.

In an era where "if you're good enough they will find you," it seems like ND (especially west side) kids still carry some sort of label.
No clue how ND HS Hockey, or NDAHA can prevent this. I personally think it sucks, but also don't blame the kids/families who want more either. At the end of the day, sports is about "me" if you have aspirations beyond HS. Quite the pickle.

Also, I am not saying that what the Orono parents did was right, I am just speaking in general that this isn't just a "parent" issue.
Just because a guy was a great player (Larry Olimb) doesn't mean he is automatically a great coach.

I would say we have over recruited local guys as of late and a lot of them haven't panned out in college.
