What’s with “neutral area”? Is there a problem with the word “zone”?
-
Game is starting ~10 minutes late, right? Or is the feed really behind?

I think I heard on a Wild broadcast that Brock Faber wasn't even on the gophers top power play unit, yet he is on the Wild's top unit as a rookie. If that was one of our coaches can you imagine the ridicule that would be coming their way!
I believe they've said Faber didn't play on the PP at all at UM. Maybe I misheard, though.

Great job turning it around in the 3rd period!
-
Good thing they didn’t review that. James was offsides on that goal. Both feet were over the blue line, but the puck wasn’t, when he poked the puck over the Louis.

I’m always so happy for Albrecht when he scores.

CBS Sports actually isn’t streaming the game for free anywhere.

Just as bad as Lacrosse!
Worse, because there’s not actual gameplay going on right now.
The last 90 seconds of this game has taken 15 minutes

The NCAA can't be happy.
I wonder what the CCHA (Alaska) and B1G (ASU) will do.
ASU an independent this year, and NCHC next year.
Rest of the sports are in the Pac-12.

Ness' brother appears to be done at ASU after the fight.
He got a nice 42 PIM in the game.
247 penalty minutes total dished out for both teams.

Tough game to officiate but have to give the refs credit tonight. After the dive to draw the first power play, they didn't take the bait on the next 9-10 ridiculous dives UMD took. The second period was embarrassing.
I’d give them more credit if they called diving on some of those.

Pretty sure it was James’s contact with the goalie’s leg that caused the puck to get pushed across the line.
-
That was a real nice dive.
-
Mbereko should get an award for that flop he tried to pull there.
-
That’s the third dive I’ve seen tonight by the Tigers.
Wiebe shouldn’t have done that, but it was clearly a hit to the shoulder and the CC player threw his head back like he was shot.

Is announcer for real?
There’s no color guy with him. He doesn’t know how to fill the time except to whine about things.

The ref behind the goalie should never blow it dead. He has no way to know if the puck is actually covered.

It's like we're at the arena. No annoying announcers.
If the picture wasn’t potato quality I’d agree with you.

I like the quote by Blake in the herald article....I feel it shows some leadership, and shows that he expects more out of himself and his teammates. No need to over celebrate winning a game in overtime, that should have been closed out halfway through the third...expect a big push, and a big night tonight...just what my gut says
What was the quote?

Why does CBS not have the shot count on the screen?

I understand the need for it, but it's really disappointing for me, living in the Twin Cities. Making the time to get up to GF is difficult during the regular season, and the Frozen Faceoff was a virtually guaranteed chance to see at least one game a year. With it on campus, especially at The Ralph, I fear it'll be nearly impossible for me to get tickets in the future. Plus the cost of getting up to GF.
Like I said, I totally understand the upsides to it, but selfishly, the switch disappoints me.
I miss the Final Five...
