One of my favorite Lee Marvin memories will always be during playoffs this year against Mankato. Lee goes to hit the guy and they both went airborne before hitting the ice. Defitnitely would have been hit of the game.

On the news last night, they said that Stafford and Parise were staying and Smaby was still thinking. I don't know about anybody else but I think whatever they do is great if it is the best thing for them.

The only reason you didn't like him because he played the same gritty game Prpich did. Except Danny did it with skill.
And Mike didn't have skill! They played the same game and I think that both of them did a good job of it. Who is the better player can't be decided as fans are slightly biased.

Sorry about the mixups - apparently I am jinxed when it comes to Sioux-related captions. I screwed up one on Chorney back in August I think. Other than it being extremely late, I have no excuse on the Smaby. I thought I checked the box score to figure out the Stafford/Prpich one though.FYI, Mike Mohaupt has some pictures online - not sure if they were all printed in the Herald or not.
It is all good, it could happen to anyone especially if it was late at night.

Thanks for the link, though did you notice that in one picture they had Matt Smaby as Travis Zajac. and it looked like in another one that they labeled Drew as Mike.

He was held out for many shifts and the PK with Zajac in the regionals when the Sioux had the lead, obviously not 100%.
Was hard to tell on Thursday, since Thorne had names so screwed up, when he happened to get a pronunciation right, it was often the wrong player. A very bad outing for him, would think the professionals would do a little bit of study ahead to have a clue.
Drew didn't look all the way healed yet, but i suppose he thought that he was ready to be back when he came back. The announcers never have a clue, they couldn't pronounce anything last year either.

They haven't ruled on the second appeal yet and as that hasn't happened UND didn't have to comply with the ruling. It was the same for any other school whose ruling hasn't been decided yet.

Perp-Itch rather than Perp-ick was what was getting me.
I hadn't thought about that one, but that is what they were saying. They were just driving me insane yesterday with the praising BC and knocking us and everything.

The only thing I want to do before next year is teach the ESPN announcers how to pronounce our players names! Seriously, it was driving me nuts yesterday.

Joe Finley on a breakaway, can't slow up and crashes into Schneider, however, the puck goes in(5 hole) before the crash as Schneider was a deer stuck in headlights!
Finley gets up and warns Schneider to get off the tracks next time the train is rolling through!
