We take our 6 year old to Senser's all the time and he loves it. Great food and great staff and UND friendly. By far the best sports bar around and it is kid friendly

You make a compelling argument...
Every time I make an argument for Cavlary I get ripped so I chose to keep it simple. Not the best idea with people on this board. But I will say this, that the new name needs to be something that people can really get into cheering for and can be a great logo at the same time. I might not be explaining this the best. Nothing can replace the Fighting Sioux, so I just want something really good. Not explorers, oilers, something better. The fans and citizens deserve it to be awesome!

No, they are replicas. Authentics can be ordered and take a few weeks to get in, they are $370 I think I was told. Still nice to have one.

Just got home from the Hockey Lodge with my new Parise jersey, I was the first one there got the green jersey. It was exciting. A lot of people walking around the X with big smiles on their faces Exciting times.

I was just looking at the Wild prospect camp roster and Genoway is not on it. Wondering if that means he was not invited or if they told him he would just be staying in Houston.

There is always a lot of Sioux gear at both Field of Dreams and the College Shop. Staff at the College Shop have told me that Sioux gear is there second biggest seller, so sorry bison fans Sioux gear is a bigger seller then bison stuff.

OK sorry for the above post, I thought it was going to load just as I had copy and pasted it. But you can still notice that UM and UMD are scheduled to play saturday at 7pm. And before I get blasted I did post this as a joke I realize that they are not serious and it was just filled in that way for some reason.

So, I have to work tomorrow night here in Fargo, and I just looked for the game on DirecTv to set my DVR so I can watch the game when I get home. I have always gotten every single home game before, but Friday night's game isn't showing up anywhere! I've looked through all the sports channels and searched for it. I found Saturday's game, but still no luck on Friday. Any other DirevTv-ers having this problem? I'm hopeful that by tomorrow it will be listed somewhere!
I found the game on ch. 617 on Direct TV. Can't wait to watch these games. I really feel that these team can at least get 3 points this weekend. I also would like to see Eidsness in net at least one night

I wish I could be up there for the game. My wife was going to get me tickets for my birthday, but no hotel rooms in GF available. What else is going on in town this weekend? I think the Sioux get 3 points this weekend. Tech has played some good hockey this year and the points are not automatic like they used to be in previous years. Go Sioux!

I was just reading comments on the Star Tribune about the Blood incident. All I can say is WOW, those people think that UMTC players have halos and never do anything wrong, at least Sioux fans can admit something is wrong and should not have happened. One of them said that the slash never happened and went on to say Blood went after Rau because Rau is better then all Sioux players. Just the total disregard for any facts of the situation. It just blows my mind that fans are that stupid.
Now they need to get at least 3 points this week. I think they can beat them but they need to stay out of the box and play smart hard nosed hockey. Go Sioux!

The girl that held up the sign that said " We Want LSU" is obviously not that bright(so she must go the NDSU). That game would be around 80-90 to zero. The Bison would get absolutely destroyed and it would be fun to watch.

If they put the dumbass flame on the front they are asking for some horrible chants, but kowing this administration they probably did not think or do not care about that as long as it is no the Sioux logo.

You are exactly right. Signing these petitions and trying to keep the name will ultimately destroy UND athletics. Dont understand why people wont let the name go. THE NCAA does not care about anything other than what they say. You can vote 100 different laws into effect that keeps the name and the NCAA and the Big Sky does not care. Anyone signing these petitions are potentially destroying UND athletics and if you dont believe it then just sign the petitions and in 2-3 years you will believe it. And if that happens and UND sports are gone I only hope hockey goes down also. I will say again the NCAA does not give a s*it. It seems most dont really care about UND athletics as a whole. You have to have all the sports or none.
It will not destroy UND athletics, c'mon you are reaching at best. I know you guys will jump all over me for this saying I am a hockey only person, but I am starting to think that the only people that want the name gone are football only people, and for what the Big Sky, Big Whoop. The hockey team has brought more national attention to UND then the football team ever thought about. I just do not get it, why so many are so willing to throw the name under the bus for a third rate conference. Just my opinion and I know you all think differently and no one is right or wrong, but it is the best nickname and logo and all of college sports, so lets get rid of it. That way the football team might gain attendance in 10 years when they will maybe beat someone.
