  1. Woohoo! THANKS for sharing Sprig!!!!! Go SIOUX!
  2. I tried last night with all my might to get WKBT 8.2 digital channel, with no luck. I did find out after the digital switch, they went from UHF to VHF, which likely explains why I could get it before and now cannot as I guess VHF does not have the distance UHF does. I was able to pick up WHLAD 31.1 digital channel (wisconsin PBS), which is showing the game tape delayed starting at 10:30pm, so that is one option. I would much rather see the game live though. Plus atmospheric conditions will determine if I can tune in 31.1, as this morning it would not come in (so I am definately on the fringe). The badger webcast may be the way to go. If the game is up somewhere on satellite, I am certain McMurphy's or Buffalo Wild Wings would show the game. If we are really lucky, FSSN will pick up the feed and put it on the FSSN satellite (one can hope anyhow, right?)!!!!!
  3. Thanks for the reality check. I know now to stop looking for the games to be on BTN! I did see LaCrosse WKBT MNT (digital 8.2) has the game on the schedule. Being in Rochester MN, I am fringe to pick up Wisconsin stations (LaCrosse and Eua Claire). I have been playing with the antenna to see if I might be able to pick it up that way. When I first got my HDTV, I had scanned in 8.2, but no luck picking it up tonight! Very likely has to be ideal conditions for me to pickup that signal. I may be spinning the antenna Friday night to see if I can pick it up that way if nothing else (even if I can find it on a fuzzy analog signal is better than nothing).
  4. I have been seeking to try and find if this game will be available somewhere as well! Check out this website: http://www.bigtennetwork.com/sports/hockey/schedules.asp It shows BOTH games (friday night 3/6 at 8pm, saturday night 3/7 at 9pm). I checked my program guide (direcTV) for the big ten network, and it shows basketball on friday and saturday night (although there are some big 10 alternate channels which do not have programming information, so perhaps closer to game day maybe something will show up)? I sure am hoping to get to see these games. Sounds like even if FSSN picks up the feed, that would be for cable subscribers only (not those of us watching on FTA satellite).
  5. I wonder if the signal was so strong because the Friday night game was also on the NHL Network? I saw 92% on my system during Friday night. Saturday night did not seem to be as strong a signal (although I was not able to check since I recorded the game and watched it later), but I noticed an occasional breakup on Saturday night where as Friday night no problems.
  6. There was also talk of a "WCHA network" after the hockey season was over last season. Anyone hear anymore about that?
  7. Woohoo! Was hoping to hear the contract would be renewed! Interesting that it is only for 1 year. I am so looking forward to Sioux hockey starting up again!
  8. Because it was Easter weekend, my group sold our tickets to Saturday, so missed out on the calendar. I know last year they gave a calendar out also, but I was sick and missed out then too! If anyone else has an extra calendar that could be sent my way, let me know. Thanks!
  9. Help me out here... what is POI? If it were not Easter Sunday, I would love to get in on this game! I did read about it last year, and knew this year would not work out, but hopefully next year I might be able to join. I realize the Final Five is over Saturday night. But why won't it work out to play the game Friday or Saturday morning? The Friday/Saturday games don't start until 2pm. Just a thought, most people seem to want to get out of town either after the games Saturday or early Sunday (at least with my group).
  10. All 10 tickets are still available.
  11. I have 5 tickets for the 3rd place game, and 5 tickets for the Championship game, all on Saturday March 22nd at the Excel Energy Center. Would prefer to sell all 10 tickets in one package (the seats are next to each other), but if unable to find a buyer for all tickets will consider breaking them up. The seats are in the Club level, section C38 row 3 seats 1-5. 3rd place game tickets are $20 each ($100 for the 5 tickets). Championship game tickets are $40 each (200 for the 5 tickets). All 10 tickets for $300, which is face value. Thanks for looking.
  12. I am thinking 7 am is a typo. Looking at the ralph website, the time is the same as the game on the 28th, so it must be 7:30pm. Also, what is with "CABLE ONLY" for all the games in the list? Since new satellite coordinates were announced for FSSN, I presume everything from this list will be on FSSN (not only CABLE, but FTA also)? Thanks for the condensed list, comes in handy for when to expect to be able to catch the games!
  13. Thanks for the link! I hope they keep this through the hockey season. Too bad they wouldn't broadcast this on FSSN satellite, the quality of the video would be much better than watching online (but at least it is something for those of us outside North Dakota).
  14. Thanks for the heads up! With the motorized dish, switching satellites is no big deal. I am so looking forward to Sioux hockey starting up again!!!!
  15. What are the chances any of the games will be available free-to-air (FTA)? It would be cool if NDSU would make available the games on FTA just like UND does with FSSN (fighting sioux sports network). Also wishing more of the UND football games were up on FSSN.

Don't know if you caught it (I was unable to watch the game last night until the end, and was also looking for them to say something about the Hobey). I watched the video this AM and found the mention of Duncan winning the Hobey with a short video clip in between the second and third period. I was hoping for a little more than what they had shown, but was glad siouxsports had the entire video to see and hear. Way to go Duncan! Was a great game to watch, what a finish!
  17. Yep, I thought it was a great article as well, which is why I had to share it here, glad you liked it too! Thus the grade "A", although me thinks they should have been given an A++
  18. Got an email update from College Hockey News (http://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2007/04/05_wednesday.php). Had a blurb about each team at the frozen four, and each team given a grade. Was a good read! At the end of the article, here was their predictions: Semifinals: UND 4, BC 3 (OT) Maine 3 Michigan State 1 Hobey Baker: Duncan, UND Final: UND 4, Maine 2 Hobey for Duncan, and the Championship for the Sioux, gotta love it! Go SIOUX!
  19. I second that! Wow, what a great game! Wouldn't have been able to enjoy this game live without high speed internet and the channelsurfing link! AWESOME! Glad tomorrow's game will be live on FSN at 5:00pm CST! Going to be a great Sioux Gopher rematch! Let's hope the gophers are all stuck in the trap tomorrow!!! Go SIOUX!!!!!
  20. tee heee <blush> Typing faster than my spell check again (oops)!
  21. Just call me a profit! I am looking forward to a SIOUX VS GOPHER rematch!!!!
  22. That ok, the SIOUX can score an empty netter!
  23. Yep, FSN is having the game on tape delay after the wild game (I belive 10pm CST). And after the Sioux win this game, it is a Sioux VS Gopher rematch tomorrow LIVE on FSN at 5:00pm!
  24. I wasn't going to watch until the tape delay. I saw the score, got the live web feed up, and WOW, I have to watch this third period!!!! GO SIOUX!!!! Sure glad for channelsurfing.net too!
