Just a few questions dealing with the UMD series. On Dec. 10 is the game starting at 3:35 or 7:05? On Ticketmaster and the UMD site the time is listed as 7:05, while at fightingsioux.com it is 3:35. Also, what is the best bet for getting 2 tickets to this series? Should I try UND, UMD, DECC or ticketmaster first? Is there another option, short of scalpers, that I should consider? My wife and I would love to be in the midst of UND fans if possible, but that isn't going to keep us away if it doesn't work out. Thanks.

Growing up in a small town near Grand Forks I never heard anyone say "I'm driving into 'the Forks' to go shopping." For us it was always just 'Forks' without the 'the' added to it. This always covered both sides of the river, too. I haven't talked to anybody who actually likes the Grand Cities and it's time to drop it for good. As far as 'The Forks', when I hear that, I think of Winnipeg.

Does anybody out there know if that includes other areas of the state such as TIOGA? Had to leave GF and come to TIOGA this weekend and I would sure love to watch the games.

First off, to the moderator, I am not going to post the password so please don't pre-emptively ban me. I wonder if they wanted the password to get out to the general public. They sure could have made it tougher or issued different passwords to each season ticket holder. I would also guess that most of the season ticket holders who are going to buy would have pulled the trigger by now.

Is the password to get tickets common knowledge yet among non-season ticket holders? If not, should it be made common knowledge? I guess I feel that the more Sioux fans and Americans we get in there, the better.

I think a lot of those newbie fans will either become good hockey fans or will not renew their tickets. I'm sure there are a lot of real hockey fans on the waiting list. Everyone talks about the atmosphere at the old Ralph. Well, when the team wasn't playing well at the old Ralph, the atmosphere was pretty pathetic, too. Everyone only remembers the good times.

Season ticket holders alone can buy on Mar. 3 & 4. On Mar. 5 & 6 corporate sponsors can buy as well. On Mar. 7 it is open to the general public including internationally. I don't know if that begins at midnight on the 7th or sometime later in the morning, but that might be worth looking into. They will probably go very quickly if the sections already being blocked out are any indication.

I have no idea why they weren't available and I was on the site the instant it was active. If you check back right now you will see that several more sections are unavailable. I hope politics or money don't play a part in which people get what tickets, but that would probably be a bit naive.
