it was asked a while ago, but I know matvik is a minnesota guy. He did stuff for the twins broadcasts last summer, and, k, this is a stretch, but is related to my girlfriend through marriage. wasn't the last one I was talking about, I think it may have been that first one, can't remember which, but where the guy shot from about middle of the circle and looked like he was just trying throw the puck at the net, but it found a hole.

Minus the 5-hole goal in the gopher game... I'm sorry, but that was weak, no question about it. Other than that he did play extremely well. He made other saves he shouldn't have made, but you stop the gimmies...

Hak was basically saying that Gwozdecky has been successful at sending his playing out to draw coincidental penalties at the end of games to get the 4on4 to open up the ice a bit, then pull the goalie to get a power play effectively with the 5 skaters on 4... I think he was reffering to the rule that coincidental penalties turn into 4X4's. He was calling that rule the Gwozdecky rule because he has used it effectively in the past.
