"After a hard fought, emotional game like last night, to put all your energy into getting back into that game and then losing. . . . it is just hard to come back to the rink and summon the energy to play in a game like this. I mean, we know we are playing next weekend. You come here and play for a trophy and we lost that opportunity last night." Not exact words, but pretty darn close. (In other words, we had nothing to play for, so it was meaningless.)

When they said there was a penalty, silly me, I assumed it was against the Gophers for hauling down the SCSU guy infront of the net? Where was MY head?

Geez, I thought I was the only one that was questioning that call! WOW! Nothing like a little home cooking from the refs! Hmmm, anyone see the coincidence. . . . Goofs are down by three, all three penalties in the 2nd period go AGAINST the Huskies? Gee, all of a sudden, Goofs are only down by 1. It's a miracle!

Not sure if anyone is stuck at work or not, but just in case. . . . SCSU is leading the Gophers 6-4 with 5:20 left in the 2nd period. Briggs was pulled after SCSU went up 5-2. WOW!
