Anyone surprised?
-
If you mean on tv. . . Altitude, Channel 661 on Direct TV.
-
And, Shepard makes a call on Air Force. . . .come on, the guy had one hand on his stick!!
-
Channel 609 if you have Direct TV.
-
Anybody else hear him comment on "questionable missed calls" against the Sioux? He "wasn't saying that was the difference, but". . . . . .I think he was just upset that the Sioux didn't get beat by Princeton, like they got beat by Holy Cross!
-
Maybe it will wake them up and remind them that they really do need to play the FULL 60 minutes!! Could have and probably should have been a much closer game, scorewise, than what it was. . . All Hail Lammy!! That goal could have been a deciding factor or even sent us home. Maybe they will think about that, and yes, put the anger back in the locker room!! On that note - GO SIOUX!! Fix the problems and come out flying tomorrow night!!!

Hey, I see UNH and ND are re-playing. . . maybe this time UNH will win and my bracket will start to straighten out! As it stands, UNH is up 1-0. . . looking good so far!!

Don't get me wrong. I have tried to like basketball. . . we have an NBA-D League team in town, which has guys called up to the NBA all the time, so no slouch team, and I have gone to a few games. I have decided that I must have ADD or something, as I find my mind wandering. I, more often than not, catch myself people watching more than I watch the action on the floor. I attribute that to far too many breaks in the action. First, there are the millions of fouls/free throws. Then, each team is allowed multiple time outs. . .of different lengths, mind you. Last, but not least, they have to take the "dancer/sponsor" time outs so they can throw things into the crowd. Not trying to insult anyone for liking it, just not for me (as you said). I find myself doing the same thing at baseball games. . . . .after watching hockey, everything just moves too slow I guess?
-
My version of basketball. . . .give both teams 100 points and set the clock to two minutes. (Sorry, I tend to find bb kind of like watching paint dry, been a hockey lover for far too long!) With all the fouls, the game would STILL take almost 2 hours!
-
First period over. . . .UNH and ND tied at 2. UNH outplayed ND for most of the first, ND was able to turn the tide a bit with their second PP goal.
-
ND ties it at 2 on another PP goal.

And SCSU is one and done, again! My picks aren't starting out so good!
-
A little flurry there. SCSU net is empty, but only 40 seconds left. Timeout SCSU.
-
Nevermind, they have to get it out of their zone first!
-
They almost have to do it now. 1:40 left!!
-
WOW - you'd think SCSU would play with a little more urgency??
-
Clarkson almost scored again!
-
Well, what do you expect from a former Sioux??
-
Yikes, I know every fan base has them, just don't like to see them coming from the Sioux faithful! What's the saying. . . . .Act like you've been there before!
-
The comment on the radio was something to the effect of "Keep an eye on #28. We'll see how long he lasts, as had it coming out both ends prior to the start of this game." Guess that would throw a guy out of rotation once and awhile!
-
I still say, a lot of clutching and grabbing done today that will be called come regionals and Frozen Four. I think that will favor the Sioux, but then again, you have to score on the PP, so maybe not??!!
-
I totally agree. I was rather disappointed in the effort (or lack thereof) from the Huskies!! As much as this kills me to say, the Gophs were the better team from the drop of the puck tonight! Cough, cough, gag!!

I was there as well, and for a time, he was sitting right below us keeping stats. He left the rink on crutches Saturday night, but did not have crutches on Sunday. I heard him tell someone that "they" didn't want him on crutches, but instead put him in a knee brace. He did seem to be in a fair amount of pain when he moved his leg.

It looked nasty on television. His head really snapped forward after his helmet came off. I know the kid that hit him (elbow to the head) got a 5, 10 and a game DQ.

From what was said earlier, broken nose and concussion. Doesn't sound like they are talking about any kind of neck injury. Have not heard any updates lately.
