The Gophers needed this game way more than the Sioux did that is for sure, to me the Gophers finally showed a pulse for the first time in the 2nd half of the season and it was great to see them play a whole 60+minuets but the true test is coming......

70% effort is all the Sioux need to prevail................ :D

The Gophers just might pull a rabbit out the hat and win tonight ,but I would not be shocked if they lost!!!!! and then you will not have to worry about the Friday night game ,but you will have a half full excel energy center that is for sure(fickle Gopher fans will not show) so all you Sioux fans enjoy another Final Five championship ............

I have to say the Sioux are the easy odds favorite to win the Final Five and that is coming from a Gopher fan boy the rest of the teams are not playing very good hockey at all!!!!!! so enjoy back to back Final Five championships Sioux fans.......

I agree with these picks just because MSU seems to play one tough game for some reason. there is no doubt the Sioux will win the series. also I see the Wisconsin winning 1 game at least and maybe UMD sneaking out 1 game against St Cloud and for my Gophers they could easily blow one game against Alaska I just hope to see some good WCHA hockey all weekend.....and a great Final Five for that matter....

I watched the Sioux game on the St Cloud link it was a decent game!!!!!but I have to report hearing the worst thing or maybe funniest!!!!but when the one of the SC anouncer said they are building a dynasty right now!!!! I thought to my self don't you have to win something FIRST???:lol:

Not an excuse it was the truth!!! the Gophers did not have any tough games at the end of the season last year....at least this year they played to very good teams like the Sioux and St Cloud and they go schooled by both. I think the Gophers know were they stand that is for sure!!!!!! now I will see if they step up and play 60 minuets or lay down like last year??

That is true my Gophers could really choke and bow out early,but being not really smart a Sioux sweep of St Cloud is not very probable and I think all the home ice teams will win there series but who knows???anything could happen who would be the first round upset any thoughts????besides my Gophers

My team Bias does not bar me from giving credit were it is do.... St Cloud is showing that the are a real good team A+ Goaltender,scoring and great team effort,Denver is good but I can not get a read on them they win one game and go sleep and lose the next one.... the Sioux have talent but the one line of DOT can't win all they games alone can they? need others to chip in, Goaltender and defense are playing a lot better that is for sure.... the Gophers right now are lost in space!!!! they have talent but no leadership.....it will be very interesting to see who shows up in the playoffs but as of right now I envy the way the Sioux are playing!!!!!! like I said before at least the Sioux have some fire and a heart unlike the Gophers.....
