There was a trivia question on the jumbotron before the game last weekend that asked us which numbers were retired, and the answer was 12 and 23.... We all knew 23, but we were just wondering if we could maybe get a little info on who was #12 and why, if anyone knows anything. That would be greatly appreciated, thanks!! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!

I haven't been able to find a website for this where the results would be posted, but I'll keep looking. However, I was a little bit disappointed with the Shattuck team for being ranked #1 in the country before the tournament started....

I am obviously hoping for a sweep this weekend against Alaska! But that's also what I was hoping for when the Sioux went up there to play, so I have no idea what's going to happen this weekend!! We've got the WJC boys back, and they seem just fine to me. Kozek's sitting out on Friday, Radke is instead playing forward. Man I don't really know what else to say. I just wish the team the best of luck! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!

Shattuck (the team Blood plays for) is playing tonight at the Ralph against the Wisconsin team at 8:45 PM. A couple of my friends and I will be there. Hope to see ya there!! Ah man! That made SportsCenter's TOP 10 that night!! I remember watching that!! They think they're gunna score an ENG so they're all celebrating and the other team ends up with the goal cuz nobody's paying attention!! That's great!!

Just seein if any SSers out there in the vicinity of Grand Forks were/are planning on going to watch any of these games?! It'd be great to see some of ya there!! Come watch Blood play if you can, since he will be playing for the Sioux!

DAVE HAKSTOL post-game interview: hell of an effort is a good way to sum it up.... we played well and we have to find a way to play a bit better.... had a lot of very good opportunities... liked the way we competed defensively..... had lots of nice scoring opportunities, bottom line is we had enough to win.... zaba played awesome, had great saves, was very good..... wanted to get better at what we're doing in the middle of the week, last week was ok, last night was good, tonight was just excellent.... let's get good angles and good puck pressure when we can.... every part of our game was pretty good, a very good performance by the team.... pp unit needs to start producing a little more, but we're getting there..... 3 out of 4 is very good, no matter who's in the lineup, attitude can't change.... we have to prove ourselves at home now, haven't been getting the job done, gotta take the same attitude that we've been taking on the road..... we wanted more than the split, but we'll have to take what we've got STARS OF THE GAME: 3) Chris VandeVelde 2) Rylan Kaip 1) Joe Finley (GWG) Zaba would be there if he wasn't so biased, but he went with all UND guys haha 7543 attendance
