Hi gang! Just wanted to give you all a little update since most of you have no idea what's going on for this! First off, posters have been made! And they are super SWEET! (I just have to figure out how many they are willing to print off for me and when they can get them to me) Secondly, we have decided to wait until right after the Duluth series this weekend to massively publicize for Sioux/Gopher weekend as both series are just as important. So next week, probably Monday or Tuesday, we will need an army of people to hang up posters all over UND, GF, and surrounding areas (and wherever else we can!). You don't need to be a UND student to help! (Like if you live somewhere other than GF where there are Sioux fans) So if you and/or anyone you know wants to get a hold of me and get some of these awesome posters, PLEASE send me an email at leah.labounty@und.edu (to exchange some info personally).... We will appreciate any and all help we can get! Thank you! Leah

Yes I agree... And I'll be at the games! On the subject of this thread, I will say this: Radke's a good hockey player, there are just some on the team who have apparently earned their spot more than him. But this team is about the TEAM.... GO SIOUX!!!

First off.... a cross country runner is killed at the beginning of October when she and another girl on a bike were struck by a car. And now, over the weekend, another girl was hit by a car and killed after leaving her sorority formal. This article also mentions an ex-MSU student who died last month on her birthday after a night of "heavy drinking." Must be a sad time to be at that school!

The atmosphere is pretty dead anyways even when the students ARE there. I think as much as everyone does go to the arena for the games, it's also a huge social event for lots of those people. I've heard lots of stories (and have some of my own) of people sitting in awesome seats in the lower bowl and not knowing anything about hockey and having conversations about anything but hockey. These same people will also not cheer and look at anybody who is cheering with a weird look (like actually wondering why we're cheering at a hockey game). It's really sad actually. Anyways, I will be there cheering loud (as usual) and I hope to see a Sioux sweep against Duluth and a hard-working team. Go Sioux!

How ironic that the Vikings win WITHOUT their star player!! Congrats on beating a team that's worse than you... Honestly though, it was a decent game..... GO PACK GO!!!!! 9-1 BABY!!!

I know you liked it haha I didn't think the girls played too bad the last couple of nights, the officiating is what killed them! They are going to have to STOP with the penalties (same could be said with our men's team) if they want to win some games! There's going to be some tough competition this year... Would also like to see MORE PEOPLE AT THE GAMES!!! The more people there are, the more fun they are to be at! And they're fun to be at anyways, there's a good group of girls out on the ice!

Maybe Finley can include some when he sends his letter!

Sad to see the girls lost tonight despite what apparently was a very good effort from them! I will be there tomorrow night to cheer them on, and I hope a bunch of you will be there as well.... Go Sioux!!!

I don't care who's inside the ugly Bucky outfit, but they're a huge wuss.... Also, story from when we went out to eat on Saturday night in Madison.... We went to a restaurant at the Doubletree Inn, pretty much Badger fans. As we were walking in, some guy was talking on the phone and he said "Oh a bunch of people from North Dakota State just walked in" I almost retorted back with "No, we're the University of North Dakota. There's a difference: One school kicks your @$$ in basketball, and the other one usually kicks your @$$ in hockey!" But of course I didn't say it because I didn't feel like getting beat up by a bunch of people in red

Playing against Niagara this weekend! Games are at 7:07pm tonight and tomorrow night... Hope to see some people there!! Does anyone know if the games will be on the radio in Fargo?
