  1. Good luck in St. Louis, TJ!!! Sorry for stalking you the other day...
  2. Good luck in St Louis, TJ!!
  3. Haha that's funny... an NDSU grad WOULD know about stuff like that, good work! (Kinda poking fun at NDSU for being a farming school, but also quite impressed that you do know that information, so don't take this post too seriously)
  4. Is there ANY way to meet some of these guys without golfing?!
  5. I'm going to have to agree with those that think our baseball team doesn't have a very good chance, especially in northern North Dakota. The boys are not very good, although the games are fun to go to when there aren't tornadic (is that even a word?) winds and it's above 45 degrees... which doesn't happen very often! NDSU's baseball team was horrible before and after their transition too, although they have the Redhawks stadium for their games. I know a guy that quit because he didn't want to play for them anymore. I think UND and NDSU would both be better off without the baseball programs. Weather is a huge consideration, as is getting people to the games. Especially with the way the teams are looking. If we do keep it, we're going to need to find some coaches who can do some awesome recruiting.
  6. I think people (especially Sioux fans) are buying into the Holy Cross thing as a symbol of the Holy Cross team (a non-glorified college hockey team) working VERY hard to win a VERY important game. I think we would have glorified them no matter who they beat, it's just that it happened to be the Gophers in our regional that night. It is apples and oranges to compare Holy Cross to BC, as BC IS a well-respected college hockey team that makes it to the NCAA tournament a lot. It's not as big of a deal to lose to them as they seem to play us a lot.
  7. GO PENS GO!!
  8. Well it's not like it's that hard of a website to remember. There are plenty of Sioux and Gopher fans on each other's message boards, get over it.
  9. Geez, don't you people read..... I'll copy and paste this again from post #20 and #33: COPIED AND PASTED FROM POST #20 (BY ME, OBVIOUSLY) Not everyone is wanting a HC jersey just because they beat the Gophers. That game was one of the absolute greatest hockey games I have ever watched in my life. It proved that "hard work beats skill when skill doesn't work hard" (don't remember who said that) I made some great friends from the HC hockey team and in the radio announcers because of them coming to Grand Forks, and I still follow up with them to see how they're doing. I also keep up with their team as much as I can. The boys from that year are some of the greatest guys and they worked hard to make it to playoffs and beat any team. That is quite the accomplishment. I have nothing against BC. They have a great and well-respected college hockey program.
  10. No I completely understand the fact that they have way more students and people at their games. I'm just trying to say that if their huge student section (or a crowd of 80,000) can do that, then it IS possible for our crowd of 12,000 (or even the student section of 2,000) to pull something like that off. I think if the administration, season ticket holders, students, and others can work together to accomplish something all together, it could be something that we can all pull off together!
  11. Some cool Penn State student section things: Hey Baby We Will Rock You Those are also some clips on how AWESOME a White Out would look if everyone would participate....

  13. Hey that's me, I'm on your list at #1, should I feel special?!
  14. I prefer to listen to the one with the Holy Cross announcers, but I may just be biased because I know them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnRfpcc3LZA...feature=related

  16. OMG I want one!! Any more details? Cost and which ones are available?
  17. It's probably a good thing there's no hockey till Thursday, it distracts me from all the studying I should be doing for finals!
  18. Really? No way!
  19. I can't read the article, I have to have a login... Stroup may be a big part of the D, but I think we'll be ok without him...
  20. YEAH DALLAS STARS!!!!! What a great series between these teams, and what a great way to end it!! Turco and Morrow are frickin amazing to watch! And Nabokov did a great job too! I'M PUMPED!!!
  21. This is now known as Battle Of The Goalies!!! This game is nuts!!!! LET'S GO STARS!!!
  22. Well they had to stick around for Springfest
  23. I don't know what happened to the Stars.... They should have won this series a couple of games ago.... I really hate Pavelski...
  24. There was a great turnout for the games today! Well, at least the first one! The guys lost both of the games, 10-4 and 7-5, although they almost tied it up at the very end. The weather would have been so nice if it wouldn't have been so darn windy, because then it was just cold!
  25. Oh geez... lol
