  1. It was a privilege being able to meet and chat with the players/coaching staff. All were very personable, courteous, and gracious to the fans (to adults and children alike
  2. Did anyone happen to watch the KVLY 10:00 PM news sports report last evening? At the end of the Sioux-BC game report it was stated that Travis Zajac was (or has?) signed an NHL contract. I've not seen it reported on any other media site, so it appears was stated in error. My apologies ahead of time for stirring the speculation pot any more than it needs to be. The trust, but validate philosophy applies and the official release is the one that counts with any of these potential transactions.
  3. Sioux Fans I missed this yesterday, but Hak is very polished with the media. Nothing controversial that I noticed. Have a great day. dgh http://www.cstv.com/chat/032906aab.html
  4. Very nice video...I'm thinking the Sioux are in the process of making one that is even better!
  5. HOWDY FIGHTING SIOUX HOCKEY FANS! The REA will be rocking tonight! Mr. Ralph Engelstad must have big "sheet" eating grin today. It
  6. DD I have 2 tickets you are welcome to for free...section 105, row I at south end of rink behind the goalie. I PMed you my home phone...give me a shout. DGH
  7. I often hear with many community residents wishing the Grand Cities had the following businesses: Olive Garden (previously mentioned) Toys R Us Hooters (gotta love those wings) All three are reason enough for folks to take an hour trip south on I-29.
  8. Nice interview of Robbie Bina on FSSN. If I heard correctly sounds more will be revealed during a medical evalution scheduled for Feb 06. You can tell he wants back in the line-up as much as us fans do!
  9. Solid 20-minute effort...40 more to go! Keep working and earning the paycheck. Intensity level seems high so far...far better than last Friday!
  10. Thanks and Kelsey is also with the Colorado Outlaws per this article: Toews-Tessier Article
  11. I'm told Dave Toews is playing with the Colorado Outlaws a AAA Midget Major team. Was unable to open the team website. Not sure about his friend...do you have a name?
  12. Perp is a key player to the success of this team. His energy and effort are contagious to the team. Been a few instances where this has been absent and the results haven't been pretty. It's great to watch when he can stay out of the box and avoid the stupid penalty. Nice article...it's great to hear Jordan & Perp banter during radio time on KNOX.
  13. No Serratorre's listed on the T-Birds roster. Had the chance to watch the Shattuck/Winnipeg game with SSM winning 6 - 2. SSM dominated play leading 5-0 after 2 periods. Third period was more competitive, but SSM has a solid team...of no surprise. Many of the SSM players stood out...Blood & Murray more than hold there own, but the entire line-up seems highly skilled. My understanding is this is only the 4th loss for the Winnipeg team with a season record of 23-4-5. Kelly Zajac seemed to be a non-factor, but you can tell he has skills along with many of the other Thrashers players. SSM was the far quicker and skilled team today. SSM plays Team Illinois tomorrow at 3:30PM in the REA Olympic Rink. Coach Hakstol watched some of the 2nd period play.

Not sure why the Heraldo used this headline for the issue to be discussed by council this evening? If interested in reading more about the issue to be discussed at the council meeting go to the city website and click on the city council. 15. It was a "scrimmage" and I'm amazed it didn't get the coverage of the Warroad game. I've not been able to find any information through my surfing efforts. Sioux Men's Hockey Flag is at half mast and I hope they can string some wins together. Let's be positive and look for a renewed effort tonight. The loses are indeed frustrating, but the seemingly consistent lack of full game team effort is baffling. Put the green hard hats on boys, fill the lunch pail, and outwork the opponent for 60-minutes. Play to potential and take care of business. God Bless the Fighting Sioux!
  16. Wow! Harvard had the heat on. Great Sioux effort against a solid opponent.
  17. The UND Community Forum has thread with some information. As far as I know it's on static display and still under negotiations on future facility enhancements...should have been resolved several years ago!
  18. Sioux Rube should get this one for his call on the Stafford goal?
  19. I'll retract the statement, but Hak needs to challenge them to 20-minutes of Sioux hockey effort.
  20. Harvard has a bit to do with it, but the Sioux seem to be lacking flow. Hak needs to bend them over at the intermission!
  21. Still 1-0 UND Shots on Goal Count: Sioux 14 HV 11 Finley to the box for slashing with 8:54 remaining
