RED PEPPER! I usually pick up Red Pepper before the game and chow that down on the way. After the game I'll stop in the Red Pepper for a quick bite to eat. Then, on my way out of town I usually pick up a couple grinder kits from the Red Pepper. A visit to GF without it would be a sin!

The Alerus is a great place to watch playoff games... we've all seen a few there. As for the Fargodome and post season... um... eh... (please refer to ND High School Football/Basketball thread)

If I'm not mistaken this is a NCAA playoff game.... I don't beleive they will have beer (even in designated areas). NCAA also trys to take "home field advantage" out of the picture as much as possible. No crazy graphics on the big screen, no blaring music over the loud speaker, even the announcer has to hold back on saying, "Tackled by the ENTIRE SIOUX DEFENSE!!" Right?

On your next trip to G.F., please stay away from The Red Pepper. That's off limits to your "type". As a UND alumnus I have the right to envoke such laws.

I just spoke with Cable One in Fargo and they informed me that the michigan tech/UND game will be on channel 51 (aka "Sioux Sports Channel"). I'm keeping my figures crossed!

Remember Jimmy K. in 1998 in the Fargodome.... when he burned the bison D-backs like they were standing still. We always knew he was a great football player.... that prooved him as an outstanding athelete!

Congrats to another great season. Another great championship game. I'll take D2 anyday over that D1-AA b.s. I look forward to several years of success in Division 2 Football. Go Sioux!!

I had a couple beers with Doug after the game last Thursday at Tom Reids, downtown St. Paul. He is a very nice guy and wanted talk to everyone in the place, didn't matter if it was about hockey or not. Unfortunately, he doesn't care for the Sioux, or Bochenski. He does care for Michelob Golden Light.

What about us Cable One subscribers. I guess we are out of luck?

JBB, your comment about Coach Lennon's hair is very interesting. I question your fashion knowledge since you probably haven't left your computer in the past several years (seeing all of your postings). That, or there is some underlying interest in our coach. Fitting seeing the history of the NDSU fans (former A.D.) Now for those who want to talk seriously about the issue at hand: I do question the play calling this year in using Kelby as a majority ball career and feared for this happening. I also ask: Why is Bowenkamp starting over Wilson? I've heard good things about Wilson's arm, isn't it his chance? Let's make one thing certain: when it comes to Sioux-Bison football it doesn't matter the record, the stats, who's injured, who's healthy, who likes girls, or who likes boys (its ok JBB). All I know is anything and everything can happen, and it will! Lets get ready to rumble!

Trying not to beat a dead horse here....... I think a majority of UND fans, as well as NDSU fans are upset about is the Sioux/Bison rivalry that maybe in jeopardy. Things have already changed with UND holding back to make their decision and NDSU plowing ahead (which makes October 12th, 2002 a monumental day). Every football season we all wait for that one day, it doesn't matter the records, present or past. Win or lose, you don't forget it for a year, now it may change. My opinion is clear (leaving all financial gains asside and speaking as a true fan): UND and NDSU should stay together, where ever that may be. There is no question going DI will have its bumps. Don't let my username fool you, I still respect their decision. Just wish it went both ways.

I am a new member to this Message Board but I must say I am impressed with JBB and his persistent attemps to upset UND fans anyway possible. Now your point is a an arguable one and anybody (Sioux nation or not) has the right to voice their opinion on the subject of % cut on use of the logo. However, I feel you use those issues (refering to your comment on our president being racist on a seperate board) just to get UND fans in an uproar. I don't beleive it is working, but it will keep my fingers busy in the future. It is reassuring that you have nothing better to do than watch this board like a hawk and put in your immature comments just to get off; definately NDSU education at work. But then again anybody can let me know otherwise, because I am just a "rookie".

Peterka was training with Gary Anderson for the better part of the winter down in the cities. I know a lot of teams were looking at him. He can boot the ball a long ways, but when he went to the combined I heard that he struggled a bit in getting the ball up in a hurry. A very important trait NFL kickers need, to the best of my knowledge.

Things aren't looking very good for old Gorder now that he lost his "blue chip" O lineman. Sioux D is going to have a feeding frenzy on Gorder come Oct. 12th.
