  1. That was my thought. Democrats probably want to do a better job explaining that. Also, good luck separating that movement from Biden. He will have to take a solid stance and explain clearly at some point when they let him out of the basement. Trump is doing a good job painting him in the corner on this one.
  2. News to me. He gave the political answer or he was just confused. This is from CNN fact check just to clarify Facts First: Biden explicitly told Barkan that he opposes defunding or abolishing the police; this comment was omitted from the video. Biden did say he "absolutely" agrees that some funding can be redirected, but it was not exactly clear what he meant -- and he immediately transitioned to his previous proposal to deny federal funding to specific police departments that do not meet certain standards. Contrary to suggestions of a recent flip-flop, Biden said in early June that it makes sense for some local communities to reduce police funding.
  3. But there is no way this swings any voters that currently support D’s and are on the fence right Hayduke? When is Biden coming out with a clear stance on being for defunding the police or against it? Debates should clear that up.
  4. So the lady in the article I quoted is lying about it helping her particular case?
  5. What’s that mean for this lady?? https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/2967210001 Like anything, conversation is best left between the doctor and patient. So many are quick to politicize this drug that we can find stories that have helped save some lives. If it even saves 5% of lives is that not a good thing?? isnt the narrative now about saving lives?
  6. They will wait until every school has lost their money FBS game. You can’t cost a school a money game if they have the opportunity.
  7. I think the MLB deal right now maybe put a halt to any plans. I agree with you though.
  8. The keep him in the basement strategy Can’t wait for the debates https://www.yahoo.com/news/chris-wallace-says-biden-campaign-205028544.html is Arizona a city or state?
  9. Honestly yes, I do think this year provides as much of an opportunity for R’s in MN as there has ever been. Out of metro is frustrated with being lumped into he same Covid requirements as the cities. They tend to vote R anyhow but maybe get a few more votes. The article (which I did not write, only cited) shows why debates will be important. Does Biden go against party and say he’s against defunding police (costing him votes in MN which will more likely be people just not voting) or does he go with the defund police narrative (costing him votes). How many remains to be seen by how these protests shake out between now and Nov. Feel free to hang onto this as it’s only my opinion. The path for a Trump victory is still the same regardless if he wins MN. It just may give him a little room for error in another state.
  10. Maybe MInnesota is in play for 2020. Was it around 45,000 votes that Trump lost the state by. People seem to feel safe based on their democratic leadership. https://www.yahoo.com/news/minneapolis-residents-forming-armed-neighborhood-124508528.html
  11. Maybe your argument will change the results of 2016. Cant wait until the debates. Seniors now looking at lowest prescription drug prices in years.
  12. So you can point out I was wrong about results in 2016. That is history that Democrats can’t erase.
  13. Popular vote means absolutely nothing in an election. Based on the scoreboard of how the winner is determined, yes he won in a landslide.
  14. Are all countries counting deaths the same as the US? Positive cases vs amount of tests. No country has tested nearly as much as US has. That’s not a bad thing
  15. So per capita works when comparing states but doesn’t work when comparing countries. Got it.
  16. Let him out of the basement so he can explain, in detail how his plan is going to work. Most prescription prices went through the roof when ACA was signed.
  17. Trump to address lowering prescription drug prices tomorrow. Great to hear.
  18. And people being able to work at home if their kids aren’t in school. We are supposed to listen to the experts on masks (who say they are comfortable with their kids at school) but we shouldn’t send our kids to school.
  19. May as well move baseball to the fall and football to the spring. Not sure about volleyball.
  20. We aren’t done with masks yet. Distancing will likely be as we get closer to the election.
  21. If the governor makes them mandatory, kids can be punished/sent home. No different than other school rules. I already said extra curricular activities weren’t included. We are just talking learning. Utilize outdoor spaces and gymnasiums for classrooms. All the solutions together work right. That’s what you have been saying the last how many pages.
  22. So if Minnesota announces today that masks are mandatory, than we agree there should be no problem opening schools with a normal 5 day schedule.
  23. Everything I mentioned can also include social distancing. School, eating at a restaurant and voting (Id also add presidential debates) can be done keeping 6 feet apart while wearing a mask (except when eating) If they all work, open the things that can be done combining all of them.
  24. Nope, I’m keeping up. Just wanted to be sure that you are perfectly fine with a leader changing their opinion on mask effectiveness from early on until now. Now that we have established that. You should also be good with a person being perfectly fine to go to school, a restaurant or vote in person if they wear a mask. No reason to lock things down further since “the experts” say masks are the answer.
  25. Fauci said they don’t and he’s the expert correct?
