I believe it was icing or something and if they take a timeout then they can change players. No need to let St Cloud score because you have tired players on the ice with a defensive zone faceoff.

Oh man, I didn't realize that Marie-Philip Poulin was the one the scored the tying (I believe) and the OT goal. What a stud! (or whatever the female equivalent is)

No. It was 4 on 4. Canada took a penalty to make it 4 on 3 USA. Then USA took a penalty to make it 3 on 3. When USA took a second penalty, they wouldn't make it 3 on 2 so they added a player to each side making it 5 on 3 Canada.

I am also surprised by how many Canadian fans are there... seems like a ton.

I did hear the announcers say at one point in time during the third that USA was only rolling three lines.

Don't know if anyone actually followed women's hockey enough to be able to answer this, but going in I (obviously) thought the twins would be two of the best on the team... however they didn't seem to get much ice time in the third or overtime... what gives? Green shaded glasses?
