  2. Yes to the band... as far as students... it was not included in the student season ticket package. However, they did offer students the opportunity to purchase tickets that co-inside with their season ticket packages... if that makes sense. So it all depends on whether or not the student decided to purchase the tickets.
  3. I could have sworn that my tickets said "alcohol allowed" but I just checked and they say "no alcohol allowed in the student section". Since these tickets were sold as an additional package with the student ticket, I believe they will be checking student IDs. Also.... if you remember, when you picked up your student season tickets (assuming that's where these tickets came from) you signed a contract... included in which were the rules about standing in line... and it said no tents. I have no idea who, if anyone, will actually try and enforce this... just wanted to throw it out there... EDIT: There is a link on the Sioux Crew website (if you dig for it) for the "student line-up policies" but the PDF doesn't open...
  4. I guess I'm not entirely sure.... I thought it was both nights... let me go and watch Duncan's video again and see if it says for sure... EDIT: I watched the video and I'm not sure. I'm wearing white both nights
  5. Don't forget about this weekend's WHITE OUT! Wear your white to the hockey games on both Friday and Saturday nights against the Gophers. White t-shirt, white coat, white jersey... it doesn't matter what, as long as it's white. Don't have any white? Stop by the Sioux Shop and purchase your official "white out" t-shirt. Don't wanna spend that much (or wear a Minnesota logo) pick up a plain white tee from Walmart or Target. Just remember to wear white... and tell your friends/family/coworkers GO SIOUX!
  6. Oshie with a goal tonight in St Louis' win... also the number two star of the game
  7. Looking at my roommate's "University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Hockey 2008/2009 Media Guide" book there is a picture of the 1986-1987 NCAA Championship team... and counting the players in the back row to the guy wearing the C, and matching it up with the up with the names listed... Bob Joyce was captain. It looks like Mal Parks is third from the end in the front row with no letter... The captain has a two in his number... that's all I can see on his shoulder. So maybe 2, or something in the 20s
  8. Perhaps Zajac out? I'm not really sure cuz I only listened to the game and didn't watch it... but I didn't hear his name very often...
  9. FINAL UND 4 (10-10-1) BSU 3 (8-9-0) Attendance: 2,414 Shots: UND 40 BSU 25 Saves: Eidsness: 22 Dalton: 36 Power Play: UND: 1/5 12 shots BSU: 0/1 (only 11 seconds) Coach: -We closed down pretty well. You know it's gonna be hard going into the third period. I thought we got back on our heals too much in the third, but we did a better job defensively. Second period was a little better defensively. We did good offensively in the first two periods. -We didn't get enough out of a couple of guys in our lineup tonight and that's a concern. The puck was bouncing like a ball... that's tough for defensemen. Big adjustment was having the third forward going for fifty fifty pucks in the neutral zone. -No question that the VV line was very good tonight. They did a lot of good things. They had a couple shifts where they had long shifts and gave up an outnumbered chance coming back, but they did very good. -Duncan is doing pretty good in the middle. Had a tough start in the beginning, went 0/4 or 0/5 on faceoffs. He's a smart player... he played up the middle in junior hockey. He's becoming more and more comfortable there. Whether or not we have the right combination with him we'll have to see. -This was a greasy road win, we had battle through sixty minutes. We had to clean some things up, and we did that. Eidsness didn't let a goal in the last forty minutes of the hockey game. Great save there at the end. Trupp: Player of the Game -Pretty exciting start. Got the goal right away. They showed lots of characted and scored two right away. We didn't let down and it turned out to be a pretty good game. They're a really good hockey team. We showed a lot of characted by coming back from being behind twice tonight. That's something we take pride in. -We talked in between the second and third about playing good D and we shut them down in the third. Our line is new, both those guys are really good hockey players. We played really well tonight, it was a lot of fun. Their a tough hockey team, came out hitting, and these are the fun games to play in... old time hockey in a lively barn like this. Tomorrow will be another battle. Roughneck Performance of the Game: (?) Ben Blood Three Stars: 1st: Evan Trupp - starting to show what he's capable of doing 1g, 1a, 4 shots, +2 on the night 2nd: Matt Frattin - really visible, three assists (first time), that line was clicking 3rd: Matt Read (BSU) - good speed, great hands, good instinct

  16. 3:36 left in the third Sioux with three shots on goal this period... Bemidji with five
