  1. Getting the first goal is essential against a defensive team like this. So far it sounds like we're putting a lot of pressure on... just need to keep it up
  2. Duncan has really impressed me this year... he seems to be very determined on tracking the puck. His all around play as well. If a defensemen brings the puck into the zone, Duncan is often the one dropping back to the point. He always seems to be near the puck.
  3. How come I've never heard of any of the four refs?
  4. Opening faceoff in 90 seconds Let's go boys!
  5. According to the injury report, Lamoureux back (was ready to go last weekend) after getting his appendix out. Kozek had a "freak accident" during practice on Wed... suffered a skate cut on his upper leg... was moderately/severe. Out this weekend, possibly next weekend. Stomach virus going through some of the team.
  6. Banged up in practice this week
  7. if you are a member... correct
  8. Those are pretty close to right on.... Miller on defense instead of Blood. Lamoureux in for Miller at forward.
  9. Oshie with a goal against Colorado, his fifth of the year. Also has two assists.
  10. But he was added to the list and included in the fan voting...
  11. There were three recruits on Saturday and one on Friday...
  12. Vote for Chay! Vote early, vote often An interesting blurb on the Western College Hockey blog... Western College Hockey That seems a little harsh to me...
  13. How do you know that? EDIT: I see on USCHO that Fischer is already on his way back to the Cities so he's out... and that Stoa is doubtful because of a lower body injury... as per Hill
  14. What about a place like Red Robin? I've only been in one... but it seemed like a very lively place...
  15. It was just a little propane tank, but scary non the less
  16. I think it's too big to be a Panera... but that's just my opinion. I'd also rather have something else... I'm not a Panera fan
  17. It's already been closed once this winter.... actually it was closed from Brookings, SD to the Canadian boarder. I wanna say this is the fourth straight weekend in a row with a winter storm watch/warning
  18. I dunno... I'm not exactly a big fan of a propane tank with the valve on fire being that close to me... many other people were getting closer to it to take a look... I was backing away because I didn't want it to blow up
  19. Try typing them all out....

  21. Yes to the band... as far as students... it was not included in the student season ticket package. However, they did offer students the opportunity to purchase tickets that co-inside with their season ticket packages... if that makes sense. So it all depends on whether or not the student decided to purchase the tickets.
  22. I could have sworn that my tickets said "alcohol allowed" but I just checked and they say "no alcohol allowed in the student section". Since these tickets were sold as an additional package with the student ticket, I believe they will be checking student IDs. Also.... if you remember, when you picked up your student season tickets (assuming that's where these tickets came from) you signed a contract... included in which were the rules about standing in line... and it said no tents. I have no idea who, if anyone, will actually try and enforce this... just wanted to throw it out there... EDIT: There is a link on the Sioux Crew website (if you dig for it) for the "student line-up policies" but the PDF doesn't open...
  23. I guess I'm not entirely sure.... I thought it was both nights... let me go and watch Duncan's video again and see if it says for sure... EDIT: I watched the video and I'm not sure. I'm wearing white both nights
  24. Don't forget about this weekend's WHITE OUT! Wear your white to the hockey games on both Friday and Saturday nights against the Gophers. White t-shirt, white coat, white jersey... it doesn't matter what, as long as it's white. Don't have any white? Stop by the Sioux Shop and purchase your official "white out" t-shirt. Don't wanna spend that much (or wear a Minnesota logo) pick up a plain white tee from Walmart or Target. Just remember to wear white... and tell your friends/family/coworkers GO SIOUX!
  25. both... duh!
