When the Muppet Show was popular, Kermit the Frog was well-known for singing "It's Not Easy Being Green". As one of the only schools with green as a color, UND students (and other fans) adopted Kermit as an un-official mascot.

just curiousWell that would probably be Minnetonka this year; they are undefeated going into the section finals. I'm guessing by sheer numbers, they would be deeper than Red River and would probably wear them out over the course of a game. Score? No idea.

* Happy - and a bit amazed that UND gave them only 1 PP. UMD working hard to goad guys into penalties, and we kept our composure well.
* Surprised that nothing was called at 20:00 of the 3rd. UMD (Menghini?) should have gotten a couple minors and misconducts for hitting after the whistle. Not to mention all the other garbage.
* Very happy that the facemasking major got called. (Without us needing to formally ask for a review.) That was hideous and dangerous. Hoping for supplementary discipline, but not really expecting it.
Yeah, that guy just blow a gasket at the end or what?

I used to love listening to homer announcers like Mazzocco and Woog on the old MSC broadcasts even though I disagreed with their biased opinion but they were at least somewhat professional even if they saw the game through maroon glasses. He was calling out the officiating, Blake, other UND players...
First time I heard him do a broadcast it was for television...so not only did I have to listen to him, I had to see him as well. He was absolutely miserable.

Keep Omaha out of the NCAA's/top 14 of Pairwise and you get to play in Sioux Falls...that's a pretty good motivator.
