Exactly...as successful as that 1st period was, they all know that a hockey game is not 1 period long. Need to come out for periods 2 and 3 and keep it up.

With the atmosphere and buzz in the Ralph now, the Sioux fans I'm sure are going nuts, and I hope the Sioux take advantage early, keep the crowd in it, and pound the Wolverines. Hennessy and Lotysz are just coming on the air now...can't wait to hear what they have to say. I'd REALLY like to see what cry-baby Dubay has to say right now, too.

Amazing...I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in that Gopher locker room right now! I told my buddy (Gopher fan) today before the game that if the Gophers overlooked today's game, they could be in trouble and he laughed it off...much like it looks like the Gopher players did!!!

I agree. I remember hearing Sioux fans on the site earlier this week saying what a great game UND/Minn would be on Saturday night, and the Goofer fans replied saying "you better not overlook Michigan". I think a few guys in the Goofer locker room were thinking about Saturday night and not about the mighty Crusaders!

If you're listening to the Holy Cross audiocast, when the radio goes to commercial you can still here the announcers talking to each other. They're saying things like: "Boy, I'll bet the boys are nervous" "Well, this is what we came for, we didn't want to get blown out" Great stuff!

He just said "Grand Forks, North Carolina"!!!

The Holy Cross announcers are saying that Briggs gave up on it after the first one hit the post. He must just be used to the pucks hitting net behind him.

I was listening to Wally Shaver and Glen Sonmor on WCCO radio and all of a sudden it switched to the pregame for the Gopher women's hockey game! I guess that's where their priorities are! Does anyone have a link to an audio broadcast of this game?
