  1. Yep. Checked it on Midco and it shows it both nights on that channel.
  2. Darn. I was hoping basement would work.
  3. Well, I'm going to get a digital antenna and hope I'm as fortunate as you! Thanks!
  4. I remember trying to situate my rabbit ears in my basement in just the right place so I could get the very best snowy picture I could when certain games were only on WDAZ and my cable got WDAY. I was thrilled when I was able to make it work. In those days, only a hand full of games were televised.
  5. Hey, thanks for your comment! We certainly like to have other fans post here without intentionally trying to create controversy.
  6. I live in Mayville. If you get it in Fargo with the digital antenna, I would think I could get it in Mayville too. It's worth a $20 gamble, that's for sure.
  7. So, when you say "rabbir ears", you don't mean that my old rabbit ears stashed in my closet will work, do you?
  8. Hey, AZSIOUX, it's not too early to start the Sioux vs. Beaver thread, is it?
  9. Well....evidently Midco picked it up last year somehow.I'm in eastern ND and have Polar, and I had to go over to a buddy's place to watch last year.
  10. Last year the Beaver/Sioux games were on TV on Midco (I think it was Midco). Any chance of that happening this weekend?
  11. Yes, the NCAA seems to sometimes exercise their power in unreasonable fashion,
  12. Sounds like UND has a real character guy here.
  13. Actually, I meant Gopher broadcasts, and I was taking a shot at Frank and Doug. (I really do miss those guys.) They made about the same mistakes that Sweeney makes (especially Wooger) but that was okay.
  14. Wow. What a zinger. If you really are a mole, you're not a very good one.
  15. This was before Oshie, Eades, and Dave Christian was in HS at the time. (Yes, I am old)
  16. P.S. Hockey and HD were MADE for each other.
  17. Whatever. I would love Sioux hockey in HD. (Looking forward to Sioux/Gophers in HD Friday night!)
  18. I guess I had better qualify my previous post. I don't really expect the coverage to be better than F$N. Grand Forks is about a 45,000 people town whereas MP/SP area is what....1 million (I really am not sure). I know, the whole state of ND is probably Sioux hockey, but that's b still only about 600.000 people...smaller than the metro area of MP/SP. Point being-more resources because of numbers of viewers which equals much more money. F$N SHOULD be able to produce a better production than WDAZ produced FSSN. But, boy, do I ever appreciate FSSN!!! I am 60 years old and have been a fan of Sioux hockey for at least 40 of those years. I can't make it in person to a lot of games, but I don't miss many on the tube. I remember in 1986-1987 with the wonderful team the Sioux had, there were only about 7 games on TV! Now there's 20+! This has been wonderful the last 10 years or so that there has been a FSSN. I will never speak negatively about it.
