I have 1 observation I wanted to comment on and see others views was the fact that on Saturday, Duncan looked totally un-inspired. Watching Oshie and Kozek hustling around digging for pucks, then seeing Duncan just basically standing in 1 place, not really even moving to get into a position to score. One of the guys behind me during the game made a statement that Duncan has had a few to many beers and seems to be showing the effects. He compared Duncan to Trupp and that the way Trupp is playing was how Duncan "used" to play. He just doesn't seem to have the speed and killer instinct at this point in the season that he had in the last 2 years. Just wondering if I'm reading too much into it, or maybe he has an injury that we are unaware of?

Hey all, As I stated earlier, I am going to this series. I should be able to get internet access on Saturday to finalize and update the picks and who moved on to the next round. However, I probably won't be able to finalize the picks prior to game time, the last time will probably be around 3p central on Friday. If you know you moved on from Friday night, do not wait for me to post, go ahead and start making your picks. REMINDER!! I was just looking at the comparisons with the teams behind us in the PWR and it appears that we are in relatively no danger of falling from the 6 position at this time. Here are the comparisons we have: #7 Michigan State We are winning this one 4-0 with substantial leads in RPI, TUC and COp plus we have the H2H. #8t Boston College We are winning this one 2-0, a lot of that is due to BC having only played 9 TUC In those 9 games, however, they are 2-6-1, once they hit the magical 10 games played, we will win that category also. We have an edge in COp that will be hard for them to catch us in, granted we only have 2 COp's(NH/Northeastern). #8t Minnesota State-Mankato We are dominating this comparison 5-0, thanx in part to a 2-0 record vs the Mavericks this season. We are dominating the RPI and TUC comparisons, the only one they can flip would be the COp, and that would require a Sioux meltdown. #8t U of Minnesota-Duluth We are also dominating this comparison, but at 4-1. The only one we lost was a head to head when we split with them earlier in the year. We play 2 more games against Duluth, and these will be crucial in holding off the Bulldogs. We have substantial leads in all categories, but losing 2 to them would make this a very interesting comparison. #11t Notre Dame Being up 3-0 in this comparison, only a late season meltdown by the Sioux would give Notre Dame a chance of flipping this. #11t Wisconsin We are up 3-1 and again, have significant leads in RPI, TUC and COp. #11t Clarkson We are up 3-0, however, outside of RPI, Clarkson has legitimate chances to flip the TUC and COp, should the Sioux falter down the stretch. So far, this is the closest comparison the Sioux have. #14t Quinnipiac Believe it or not, we only lead this comparison 1-0. Thanx in part to having no common opponents and Quinnipiac having only 7 games versus TUC's. If they make the 10 games needed for TUC's, and somehow manage to win 5 games versus TUC's, it won't matter as our RPI trumps anything they can throw at us. #14t Providence Being up 3-0, this is a team that could actually flip the TUC and COp comparisons with us if they finish strong. One to keep an eye on if they go on a tear at the end of the season. Well, most of these are opinionated, but would like to hear anyone else's comments regarding the above. If I have time, I will look at the teams ahead of us in the PWR, and try to break them down a bit.

Ok, here's the scenario. Final night of the regular season, March 8th. Sioux just got done sweeping St. Cloud and currently have a 1 point lead over CC for the McNaughton. CC is in the 2nd intermission of their game with DU, tied at 2. Now the question, would the Ralph find a way to broadcast the rest of the CC/DU game to the fans after the Sioux game? Keeping the fans in the Ralph to watch the game in hopes that CC loses for a huge celebration would be cool. Just wondering if it is something that the Ralph would even be able to do.

Much like the entire playoffs for me(a Raiders fan). I cheered for the Patriots to lose. I really didn't care who won, as long as the Patriots lost. I think if people take that point of view this coming weekend and cheer for Denver to lose, and not worry about who they are playing, it might work.

I agree with Sioux-cia, if it had been "Luck" it would have hit something(defender/skate/etc.) to bounce over the net, the intent was there, and as far as I could tell, the pass was perfect. That's creating your own luck.

I haven't checked it out as it is going to take money out of peoples pockets. They did leave the forums up, however, and I think that will remain the best means of selling/buying tickets.

I wasn't very clear, I was indicating 3 teams as autobids, that is including the Atlantic and CHA autobids. So basically, I'm thinking that it's very possible for Clarkson to get knocked off in it's conference tourney creating another bubble team to pop out of the tourney. Is there any chance that an Atlantic/CHA team becomes eligible as an at-large bid?

Outside of the CHA and the Atlantic, what conference do you think poses the biggest threat for a cindarella team to win their conference tourney? How solid is Clarkson in the ECAC? I'm thinking that there will be 3 autobids making the tourney that wouldn't have made it as "at large" bids.
