They played in the 2013 Frozen Four, and played in the 2014 and 2015 Regional Finals. They have won tourney games. Though they do have a lot of puzzling losses.

My bad.  I guess for me they are just so forgettable when it comes to the NCAA tourney.  Maybe this will be their year, or not.  That was a hell of a game with UMD in St. Paul.

  2. Until SCSU proves they can win a Final 16 game, I have a difficult time believing they will move on.  I don't believe they have ever won one.  It might have something to do with the fact they play most of their games on Olympic ice.  They did look good on Saturday night, but still wound up losing.

    Not the state of Minnesota

Last time MN was in charge of something they needed another $80M just to complete a driver's license software upgrade because the initial upgrade didn't work and had already cost millions.

I like the Chicago idea.   Good rink options,  easy fly-in destination, a lot to do in town, and we've recruited from that area in the past.    Maybe fans would get a chance to see three former Sioux playing together for the other Hawks.

Not sure about Chicago.  Given their shooting statistics (guns, not pucks) over the past few years that is getting to be the place that I do not want to go.  I think they have close to 100 shootings every weekend.  Scary.

The presale is not sold out. If you attempted to buy tickets right away at 10 am Ticketmaster was flooded with requests. Please log back in. Plenty of great seats are still available.

I got in and bought tickets right away.  A short time later it was indicating sold out.  A friend was getting the same message.

  6. Single game tickets at Omaha just went on sale.  If you plan to go to Omaha for the series in January you can get your tickets directly through UNO without having to pay Ticketmaster fees,

at OMavs.com/tix.  Evidently this is a favorite game as prices are $10 higher than any other UNO series at $30 upper level and $40 lower level.
