Wouldn't it be great if we could get ANOTHER freshman going? Go Fabian. This years' freshman class has been excellent. A seventh freshman who can contribute would be oh-so-good.

I remember watching games as a kid, they would not blow the whistle if the goal was only slightly off. When did they change the rules? Yes, I'm aware that I'm showing my age.

I disagree. J Parise made some nice saves in the 2nd & 3rd. He didn't look really good in the first, but picked it up from there. Especially on replay - he looked good.

Okay, Matt Jones, too. He has been solid all year. I guess in my Players of the game, I was going more for the best surprises of the game.

Zach & Bochenski were both "Minuses" on +/- tonight, yet UND won 5-2. Sounds like the first half of the season. That is a good omen (I hope). Nobody hopes more than me that this team will bury the memory of last season's flop this year.

Yes, "Lundblum" was good. A bit of a sleeper for as good a game as he had. He has turned it up in the second half.

Players of the game (IMO): Genoway, Porter, J Parise, Greene.

Blais even said he went with 3 lines tonight. I don't like that very much. The last championship team had 4 good lines that Deano rolled in the final game. However, except for that anomoly (I hope), this was a great game for the Sioux. They outshot and outplayed CC big time.
